65 years old, loose skin around neck and jaw line

I would like to describe my experience on royal caribbean cruise line allure cruise ship. I was on a cruise when i met the young doctor, dr. Abi from india. He was very confident right form the beginning. Being in tech business, i had done a lot of reserach about thermage before and had found that it does not work very well. When i met abi, he explained to me everything about the procedure, how it works. What i really liked about him was his in-depth knowledge of the subject. He told me that he performs a lot of treatment and has a very busy practice. I would have to admit that initially i was very apprehensive, but his confidence and bed side manner took care of most of my concerns. He searched the price on internet in front of me and the price was actually $ 250 less that my clinic in new york. I was still very nervous but decided i will go ahead with the treatment. He took my before pictures and asked me to take a few pictures with my cell phone as well, so that i have copies. He explained to me that after thermage, i will not see any major change, but i knew that before hand. He had a lot of before and after pictures, and i asked him if i would see any instant results, to which he smiled and said he won't promise anything, but change will be very gradual. I was still very apprehensive, but gave in to his confidence.

My procedure took 1 hour 45 minutes to complete. I think he took extra time in treating the areas around my neck, as most of my research said that their treatment took only 1 hour. I felt considerable heat around lower part of the face, something he told me at the beginning, but there was no redness or pain afterwards.

When i saw my self after the treatment, i could not believe it myself. Tears were flowing out of my eyes. The loose skin around my neck, that was bothering me for a long time was gone. There was no loose skin there. It was all tight. I could feel the tightness around there. I loved it so much i gave him a big hug. He was so polite right from the beginning and told me its just his job ( what a gentleman ). I got the treatment done on the first day of the cruise, so i had 7 days to see him, and with each day, my skin felt better and tighter. It closed my open pores, made my jaw line firmer. Its been around 2 months now, and most of my loose skin around jaws are gone. I wish he lived around new york area so that i could send my husband and my sister to him, but i would recommend thermage to everybody.
