After many years of dreaming of larger breasts I finally decided to take the plunge and go for a consultation for BA. I have always been unhappy with the size of my breasts but after having 2 kids and losing 60 pounds a few years ago they have also become deflated and pancakey. I currently wear a 34a bra. After months of research and reading reviews I went for a consult with Dr Grawe and she instantly made me feel comfortable. After a short exam, she let me know I was a good candidate for BA and gave me the range of cc size she thought I might want based on our convo and my wish pics. I booked my surgery that day and went back two weeks before surgery for my pre op and to try on sizers. I decided on the 550cc gel and she said high profile would be best on my frame.

Surgery Day
Christen219July 6, 2017
I had my surgery on July 3rd. My scheduled time was 12:30pm and I was asked to arrive an hour early. I had to take a pregnancy test, get fully undressed and was given a hospital robe and socks. They put my iv in and I waited to be taken back to surgery. They were running behind so I didn't go in at my scheduled time but everyone was so nice and kept me updated so I didn't mind.
The anesthesiologist came in to let me know what was going to happen and if I had questions. Next, Dr Grawe came in and made some markings and asked if I had any final questions. She had a big smile and acted excited which put me at ease and also made me excited. I wasn't really nervous, probably because everyone was so kind at the surgery center.
Once I was wheeled back to the operating room the anesthesiologist introduced me to a few people in the room and told me he was giving me some medicine that would make me feel like I'd had a few drinks. The last thing I remember was saying "oh I like this stuff" lol
It didn't seem like hardly any time had passed and I was awake in recovery. I felt uncomfortable like I had done an intense chest workout but it was tolerable. The worst part for me was I couldn't stop shivering which made my soreness worse. The nurse told me it was a common side effect of the anesthesia. Once I walked out to the car in the warm air I stopped shivering and had a good ride home.
When I got home my husband had to help me out of the car but I was able to walk in the house without too much discomfort. Reaching and sitting up was pretty much impossible. It's not even that it was too painful, it's like my muscles just wouldn't let me do anything. Don't get me wrong, it hurts but on the pain scale I wouldn't put it above a 5. I took a few naps and just laid on the couch most of the day. They gave me 2 pain pills at the surgery center and I took 1 more later that evening.
I'm sorry if this is super long! I just know I'm detail oriented and browsed through tons of reviews to get as much info from others as I could when I was considering my BA.

Where did you get that grey sports bra?

I got it from Walmart. It's fruit of the loom. I think it was around $8 and it's super comfy!
