What a great experience. Such a caring doctor and staff. Interviewed several doctors that were less expensive but this doctor and his staff made me feel more comfortable and safe. Excellent job with excellent aftercare. I feel like I have developed friendships rather than just another patient. Doctor is available by text as well as staff to answer any questions or concerns great communication. Results far exceeded my expectations and I'm still healing!

You look amazing!!! I don’t know what to think about my surgery. I’ve been a bad girl with my diet so my belly isn’t going down like I’d expect. And I have developed hard spots that massages aren’t helping. Fingers crossed it’s just swelling and will get flatter. But you look absolutely amazing!!!

Swelling continues to go up and down. A little disappointing . Meeting with doc next monday. I am still happy as it is so much better than having those gross rolls

50 Yo Post Meno Weight Gain

User Avatar

After seeing my mother's turkey neck develop and post menopausal weight gain it was time to make a change. From just a desire to have my neck worked on, decided to progress with more abs, hips, back, and so glad I did. I plan on going back for thighs at a later time. So happy with this doctor and his staff and the work that they did far exceeded my expectations.

Did Dr. Jack Friedkander do your neck and jowls? Was the neck painful? How much for the neck, jowls, chin?

Post op day 6

Shower was difficult. Felt good to get garment and the foam off and the drains are very cumbersome. Feeling better, but ultrasounds and massages hurt and tire me out. Day 7 was breakthrough day with tons of energy as long as I don't sit down. Standing up is still a challenge because of the amount of core strength needed. Neck is sore and swollen still. I thought I prepared for the healing process but this was a little tough, especially without help.

You started your massages already! Wow! That’s amazing. Even though it’s painful, do you feel that it’s helping? I have these hard spots forming and I think it’s scar tissue. My massage is this week. Your stomach looks amazing!

I was going to pass on the massage because it was another expense I am glad I did not. I started 4 days post op. The first massage is so gentle I was wondering what I was paying for. Lymph massage was a lot different than I expected. The second and third massage or a little more intense Where She Went deep into break up the fluid spots. But there was one spot on my stomach that they thought they might have to syringe the fluid out and she got it out. My stomach is still really swollen. I still have a lower roll but I am patient with that I'm not patient with that silly garment and the foam. Hopefully with getting two of the drains out that will help as well. How are you feeling?
