After years of chiropractic care, massage and physical therapy for my neck and back pain I am finally putting the girls on a diet (thats what my brother called it) LOL. My insurance has authorized the surgery. All of my family and friends that know are very supportive. I am excited and nervous at the same time.

Had my pre - op appt yesterday. It went good. My mother in law and hubby were there and we're able to get all of their questions and mine answered. Feeling less anxious. I am just going with it now. Surgeon said that it is normal to be reading and Internet searching but sometimes you can make your anxiety worse and cause yourself Un needed stress. So now I am going to try not to worry and let the out come be... I am confident in my surgeon to do what's best for me.

Stayed home today. Got all of my bedding washed, house cleaned and dog washed. Spent about a half hour talking to the nurse at the surgery center and registering. Got my bag packed with a few essentials. I think I am ready. Still a little nervous but more excited than anything. I just want to be on the other side all ready and get the healing process started. Really hope I come out as a C cup.

I think that the comment that your PS said about doing a lot of research like and reading up can cause you to be stressed. I did the craziest thing by looking at the surgery on YouTube. I was not wanting to get the surgery after that and I wasn't even approved yet. LOL. But now I'm approved I'm just relaxing and going with the flow. I'm more looking into questions I should ask for myself about my outcome. Good Luck! I'll be looking out for you.

I watched some videos too and it freaked me out and then I just decided I need it, I know what they're going to do, and I know I'll be asleep during this, and I'll just let them do what they do, knowing that they're going to help me. :)

I really was freaked out. Lol. This won't be my first surgery. I have had 2 c-sections, the first one I was put to sleep (I was over reacting about everything) and the second one I was awake and had a tubal as well. So I looked at one of those surgeries as well. But either way I'm ready and doing this.
