I am 38 years old and have had 3 children all in my 30's. The pregnancies combined with breastfeeding have taken a toll on my breasts and I have lost all upper pole fullness and there is quite a bit of sag. The children also favored one side which accentuated some asymmetry that was already going on. I went to three consultations with doctor's of varying styles. I went with the last doctor because he spent a lot of time going over the procedure with me, my options, did a thorough examination, made me aware of pros/cons and how any complications would be dealt with, the rates of occurrence for possible complications, etc. His staff were also great, they were able to squeeze me in for an earlier consult because they were booking up during the time I wanted my procedure done. It has been a fabulous experience so far. The doctor and his staff have put me at ease to the extent that I booked my surgery date the day after my consultation. I am not feeling all that nervous at the moment, mostly excited although I am sure the nerves will come as the surgery date draws near. Luckily, I have a lot going on prior to then to keep me busy and occupied. I will post some before pics soon. We did not settle on an implant size as that will be discussed further at Pre-op. From prior consultation I tried 440 ccs silicone high profile and liked that so I anticipate ending up somewhere between 400 and 500 ccs. I am a runner so I don't want to go too big but then I also don't want to go too small. Prior to pregnancy I always wore 36 D victoria secret bras. After stopping breastfeeding this year I was down to a 34D and then went to some cheap target bras in size 34C but it is possible I am smaller and there is a lot of sag. A couple things that are different and adding to the costs of going with this doctor is the requirement of having a mammogram prior to surgery to set a baseline and then if any tissue is removed which is likely for a full lift, the tissue will be tested for cancer cells as a precaution. This is adding approximately $200 to the total. I haven't gotten my meds so that will also need to be added in.

My husband went to the first consult and took some pics with the sizers. I have pics for 375 ccs and 450 ccs. He didn't go to the other two so these are all I have until my pre-op appoinment on 10/12. I think I will end up somewhere between 425 and 465.
