4months post-op!

Twobabies, Wow! Yes, 325HP is what I went with. Could have done the 350's but went with my "perfect fit" per surgeon.... Are you happy with the 435's??? How do you feel? I'm sure they look great! :) KL

Sorry! Hit enter by mistake. What I was trying to type was = Trust your gut feeling. Trust your Dr. Bring in lots of end result wish photos. Another thing for me was; I only want to do this once in my life. I don't want to be 60 and be dragging around massive breasts (that tend to make older women look matronly and fat!) I fly home to Kenya from Johannesburg tomorrow. I will post some photos of me now at 1 week post op.

I should also clarify that I am technically a North American/ Western woman. I am Canadian, but have lived in Africa and Europe for the last 20 years. I have at least 50 friends whom have augmented breasts and my American friends usually end up with implants double the size. Just an interesting observation..... So the question becomes- Do you want natural looking breasts, or big boobs? I can attest to the pull towards both results from my own struggle with choosing an implant size.

I also had a major research paper & presentation due yestereday, so I have not on this site for a few days. I am looking for more a natural look and I made that perfectly clear on my initial consultation. I will check out your profile for updated pics. :) Did you get the highprofile, mod plus, mod? What style? I'm looking at the 300-325HP, silicone today. I'm going to show him pictures today, so he can see exactly what size I want to be, and he can determine the size of the appropriate implant for me. :) Again, thank you so much for you input and I look forward to sharing our stories! :) -KL

I am so excited for you. I don't mind if he shows you my photo's I gave him authorization to share my photos with the other dr.s. So go for it. but go bigger you won't be sorry. listen, when you get home from surgery you won't look big for a few days. But when they are swollen you'll love them.. As the swelling goes down you'll miss the larger breasts because it is a good amount. I went big and I'm happy you have no idea. Read on this site of all the girls that wish they would have went larger... : ) Let me know if you need anything. I'm so happy for you.

keep looking and looking. I spend enless hours doing homework on BA. I spend endless hours looking for the perfect PS. Again, I spent hours and hours each night, to where my husband was going to shoot me from typing on the computer until 4am each night for months. But in the end, it was so worth it. I was never in pain. I did not have one bruise. I asked if I was going to look like someone beat the crap out of me... And he said if you have one bruise... I did not do my job. No one should have a bruise on them. He is the only one that touches the implant. No others can even breathe on them. I put all my trust in him. I told him and the staff while walking into the surgery room, I want them perfect and if they are not perfect then please fix them because I'm so picky when a picture is not hanging correctly. They all said they will be just fine. I also requested to be awake until they needed to start. I loved watching them prep. I'm not afraid of surgery at all, I want this so why would I be afraid. Watch the you tube video of what is going to happen. I watched the video about 10 times. I'm very brave. I had no idea they sit you up to make sure your breasts are perfect. You don't know your sleeping like a baby. It has to be hard just waiting and waiting. I was in Mexico for 12 nights before I had surgery. I came home on Oct 21st at 8pm and had surgery Oct 22nd at 6am. I planned it that way, so I would sleep like a champ after surgery. I also made my husband a booklet of why women want BA. what to expect and what to do and what NOT to say.... so you don't get yelled at. Omg my husband was the perfect nanny the entire week. I kid you not!! He also understood better why we want BA and what other husbands have gone thru. It was amazing. ttys
