Extreme Laxity - Combo Fleur De Lis Tummy Tuck & Full Breast Lift. Rockville, MD

After losing nearly half my body weight through massive diet, exercise and lifestyle changes, I wasn't sure how to keep moving forward. I'd spent 3-4 years changing my entire life in pursuit of a goal, and had reached it - but was depressed over the extreme sagging skin and laxity in my belly and breasts. I was thin and at my goal weight, but couldn't imagine ever wearing a bikini or showing my stomach, ever. I literally hated looking at my body naked or even clothed - and after ALL that hard work! I went back and forth for a long time about surgery, nervous about the potential for disaster and to be out a significant amount of money. Finally, I decided my happiness was worth pursuing research and finding a way to make the money work. I looked at a few doctors, but Dr. Tattelbaum was one of the first and I'm very glad I chose him. After an initial consult in fall 2014 with Dr. Tattelbaum, I was interested and wanted to move forward but needed more time to settle my life and get my funds in order. Finally, in the summer of 2015 I had my second consult and scheduled surgery for September 2015. We settled on doing a combination procedure of both a full breast lift and fleur de lis tummy tuck with full muscle tightening at the same time. I had gone back and forth on doing both the tummy tuck and breast lift but I am SO glad I did. I feel as though I was gifted a brand new body/torso, not just an upgraded version of my old body. My result was better than I could ever have anticipated. The discomfort post-surgery was difficult, but after the first week walking and sleeping both became much easier (well, with thanks to the pain medication!). The most significant discomforts I experienced during recovery were muscle soreness (obviously) and INTENSE skin itching (not quite as expected!). The muscle tightening was the most painful part of the recovery (as Dr. Tattelbaum told me, I barely noticed the slight discomfort in my breasts compared to the intense muscle soreness right after surgery! There were literally no cons to this procedure for me - I feel like I'm finally, truly living my life at 29 at last. All of my clothes fit and feel 100% better, and I no longer spend all day readjusting or rearranging my pants to be comfortable or to not look like a stuffed sausage no matter what size pants I'm wearing! This surgery literally changed my life overnight. And while it certainly isn't universal, I experienced some...ahem, very significant and pleasurable changes in the bedroom (physically, not psychologically although of course that was significant as well!)
