Before surgery I was nervous about the pain and effects I would feel post-op but once I checked in the nurse numbed my arm before inserting the IV and I had little pain, then I talked to the anesthesiologist and he assured me that he would be constantly monitoring me during the surgery and that him and Dr. Sloan had been working together for over 20 years. After the anesthesiologist left Dr. Sloan came in to mark the areas on my breast and was very understanding of all my concerns which I now realize was no reason to be concerned about. When i woke up after the surgery i could feel tightness in my chest but i still didn't feel any pain i joined the nurses in conversation about Halloween and carving pumpkins then they gave me my medicines and after about 45 minutes in recovery i was able to go home. I did not have any pain or nausea until about an hour and a half and i was mostly dizzy I got home around 5:30 pm and slept for a couple of hours then woke up and ate then i went back to sleep for the rest of the night.. I was prescribed Demerol, phenergan, diazepam, and keflex. On the day after surgery (Day Two) I discovered that the phenergan and demerol was making me dizzy and causing me to do nothing but sleep so i stopped taking it and only took the diazepam with Tylenol, the pain was there but more like soreness and nothing that was as bad as i thought it would be. I had a lot of trouble getting out of bed after the first night of sleep but haven't had as much of an issue since then. On day three i contacted the Dr because the diazepam started making me feel tired and wasn't really helping with the soreness so they prescribed me Tylenol with codeine which has helped out a lot with no drowsiness or dizziness. Overall, i am happy with the outcome so far. I was looking to be filled out but i did not want to be super big and for it to be obvious through clothing that i had gotten the operation. I feel like this is the perfect size for my frame and i can't wait to see the final results!

They look great! Congrats! I had 300hp dual plane on Wednesday. Loving the size! Happy I didn't go bigger. Nice fit on my body. I'm feeling pretty good just on Tylenol. Not as bad as I had expected..

How are things goin for you? I have a lift in June and implants(textured over like you) and I had an incision come open on one breast and now it seems like the other breast looks a little lower than the other??? I feel like I am very critical though. Lol

Every thing has been going good! The pain and everything is not even close to as bad as what I was expecting...the other day I thought it looked like one was bigger than the other but when I asked my husband about it the next day they didn't appear that way. I would definitely keep an eye on it and if they don't even out I would contact the surgeon and see if anything could be done...I'm critical too but after paying for my results I want to make sure they are symmetrical for sure!

I agree. I haven't said anything to my husband about it. I am going to tonight. I think dr sloan is going to get tired of me. I think I'm his problem patient. Hahaha

Thanks! I flood the nurse with questions at every visit but it's too soon to see the final results for me although my incision is healing very well. I think a second opinion always helps but have you noticed the difference in your breast recently because in your photos they look good and your incision size is good but he put my stitches on the inside instead of outside. :)

Yes it is a recent thing. I am going to try to update photos today. He used disolvable for me too, but for some reason after my lift, the right breast did not like them and caused some issues and he ended up cutting them... And after the implants, it was he same story. Literally the whole 1 inch incision came open. I will update some photos today and ask for opinions. I asked my husband and I had to make him get up and show him exactly what I was talking about. You know women are more critical, I just feel like I've spent over 10k now and they should look how I want them too. And he's a great dr and I know he will. I trust him completely, I just feel like everything in the world happens to me. Haha the nurses are great, aren't they? Actually the whole staff is. I love them all. The anesthesiologist too!!!! I seriously will miss that office!
