Week One

Still feeling great. I get a little dizzy if i try to do to much other than that everything is going great.

Before surgery I was nervous about the pain and effects I would feel post-op but once I checked in the nurse numbed my arm before inserting the IV and I had little pain, then I talked to the anesthesiologist and he assured me that he would be constantly monitoring me during the surgery and that him and Dr. Sloan had been working together for over 20 years. After the anesthesiologist left Dr. Sloan came in to mark the areas on my breast and was very understanding of all my concerns which I now realize was no reason to be concerned about. When i woke up after the surgery i could feel tightness in my chest but i still didn't feel any pain i joined the nurses in conversation about Halloween and carving pumpkins then they gave me my medicines and after about 45 minutes in recovery i was able to go home. I did not have any pain or nausea until about an hour and a half and i was mostly dizzy I got home around 5:30 pm and slept for a couple of hours then woke up and ate then i went back to sleep for the rest of the night.. I was prescribed Demerol, phenergan, diazepam, and keflex. On the day after surgery (Day Two) I discovered that the phenergan and demerol was making me dizzy and causing me to do nothing but sleep so i stopped taking it and only took the diazepam with Tylenol, the pain was there but more like soreness and nothing that was as bad as i thought it would be. I had a lot of trouble getting out of bed after the first night of sleep but haven't had as much of an issue since then. On day three i contacted the Dr because the diazepam started making me feel tired and wasn't really helping with the soreness so they prescribed me Tylenol with codeine which has helped out a lot with no drowsiness or dizziness. Overall, i am happy with the outcome so far. I was looking to be filled out but i did not want to be super big and for it to be obvious through clothing that i had gotten the operation. I feel like this is the perfect size for my frame and i can't wait to see the final results!

Dr. Sloan is very professional and educated in this area. His rapid recovery techniques are amazing! From a quick observation of my breast he knew the exact implants that would best fit my needs and expectations. I am truly happy and confident with my experience and decision to have Dr. Sloan do by breast augmentation especially after how nervous I was in the beginning!
