WORTH IT
I knew I was very larger. Okay I knew I was larger than your average large breasted female, but I had them since I was 16. No matter the weight lost they stayed. Dr. Koenig made me feel like a brand new woman. I have never felt better. The entire staff took very good care of me. Very grateful. He was a blessing.

Welcome to the community and thanks so much for offering your opinion of your doctor.

It would be great if you could give us a little more detail about your experience, like why you had the surgery, your tips for getting good results, pros/cons, and info on the recovery process.

Our community members especially love seeing photos from before, during, and after — a realistic look at what they can expect. Photos grab the attention of the community and encourage more support for you.

I was between a 38-40JJ and I began to have back pain. I was beginning to feel uncomfortable and not sure how I would be able to carry my load when I was 50 or beyond. So when it was suggested I have a reduction I thought about it for a long time. I have been offered having a reduction since I was 16 years old, but I had seen too many ladies that looked butchered and I did not want that. I started making inquires into who was the best in my area and Dr. Koenig's name was mentioned repeatedly. I am so glad I made the phone call to get a consultation. He instantly knew it was truly needed/necessary and made me feel comfortable. He requested that I loose 20 pounds before he would complete the surgery. I lost the 20 by the time I had surgery and it has made a great difference. TIPS for getting good results: Listen to your Dr. I could not take a full shower for 6 weeks which was rough, but I followed the directive. I purchased good sports bras to wear. I did not workout until I was released and I purchased a maximum support bra to make sure I did not move. I still cannot sleep without a sports bra and I have been out 4 months. I can walk around without a bra and feel comfortable. My recovery was longer because I had more done than most people. If you need more information please let me know.

What type of bras did you purchase? The ones I thought were great my PS informed me they weren't very supportive.
