Hoping for 400cc round saline implants under the muscle. Can't believe I'm posting these awful before photos. I hate looking at them but I hope it helps someone else with the same insecurities. My consult is Dec 7th and pre op will be around the 15th. I've always been super embarrassed, especially in workout clothes which I live in more than anything else.

Thank you! I'm so excited now that I had my consult. I am a little worried because he said I didn't have very much skin around my breasts so he may be limited on size once he gets in there but he won't know until the procedure. Anything will be better than what I have though. Just to be free from embarrassment in a bathing suit, no more double padded bras or hiding from my husband!!

Thank you so much for posting! I was just posting on my own review that I need to work up the courage to post my befores. I am also very active and after breast feeding three I look very similar to you! Seriously, thank you.

You are welcome! Helping someone else makes the embarrassment worth it

It totally helps--I'm not even an A-cup and am the same height so I appreciate seeing your profile! Are the sizer pics 400 ccs, because my doc suggested smaller ones for my chest size (300 cc) and I'm concerned they won't be big enough when I'm done. So I'm constantly looking at other people's profiles to see where they end up.

No the sizers are 345 and I'm praying they'll fit! My ps also ordered 285 (...,I think that was the size he said) just in case my skin won't stretch enough for the larger ones. He's going to do saline sizers first to see how it looks. I couldn't do 400

I think you'll be happier with a smaller than 400 ccs implants. I got 339 ccs and I think they are a bit big still... I told my surgeon I just wanted to have the volume back I lost when I lost weight. I'm happy with them regardless but hoping they settle and get a little bit smaller. I go to the gym every day and I really don't want the girls to be in the way of my training. I'm wondering why your surgeon chose saline instead of silicone... you are petite and saline shows the rippling more when you don't have enough skin. Feel free to look at my pics. I had a TT(last year)arm lift and breast augmentation (almost 4 weeks ago) Good luck with your surgery! :-)

He's just using saline sizers to see how much my breast can hold comfortably and then he'll replace it with the silicone implant. Thank you! I'm glad to hear that, I have an unrealistic fear that I'll still come out flat chested
December 12, 2016
Oh good! Glad to hear :-)
And don't worry no more flat chest after surgery. Keep us posted :-)

My doc did the same thing. He brought a range of implants from 350-475 with him to my surgery. Then he sat me up with the sizers and moved me around to see what looked best on my frame. I loved this approach and this was why I chose this doctor. I'm glad I did now that I see my results. I look proportional.

Oh that's great to hear! I hadn't heard of anyone else doing this. I loved that he takes the time and goes that extra step, it gives me a lot of comfort.

Consult is over, pre-op December 14th and surgery December 21st!!!!

Consult went great. I am very small, I barely have a breast fold which actually worked in my favor because it won't be an issue for my PS to create a fold a little lower. He recommended round and textured. He says he doesn't recommend textured very often but since I am so tiny, he was concerned about the implant slipping down out of its cavity. Does anyone else have a similar experience? Anyway, I'm so excited and scared all at the same time!

I received textured as well. My PS decided on those due to my level of activity. He said they are less likely to move than the smooth profile.

I am glad I went with textured as much as I run. That's the biggest thing I worry about.... how BA will affect my activity level or vice versa. It's going to kill me but I plan to take a break from anything but walking for 4 weeks. Which means I'm going to have to watch what I eat
December 12, 2016
Yes--my PS recommended form stable implants for me (which are textured) because I have so little breast tissue and skin to start with.
January 2, 2017
I look similar to you and my PS actually suggested against as he worries the texture could become visible on the sides due to low breast tissue and body fat. Now I'm worried.

I have read about that happening and really thought about pros and cons and decided to go with textured. He had to create a new breast fold for me and that increases my risk of bottoming out especially with me running and using an elliptical 5 times a week. But I would trust your ps, he's examined your anatomy and knows what will work best for you. Good luck!

I'm going to bring it up to him just in case at my pre op. I run half marathons and weight lift as well, so I'll ask just for reassurance
January 23, 2018
I had the problem of slightly bottoming out. I have similar stats as you and also went to a 400cc. I am having a revision in may to have them replaced with smaller implants a 250- 275 cc and my pockets tightened. I dont want to risk putting that much weight on my body anymore . Good luck!

My surgery date was changed to December 19th, pre op TOMORROW!! What can I expect at the pre-op appt?

Hey ladies! Got a call today that surgery was pushed up to December 19th which works so much better for me, I was worried about being too groggy during Christmas. One thing I am wondering, is what to expect during the pre op appt. Anyone already has theirs? Just wondering what type of history and physical is done?
