Bicuspids that are rotated are notoriously difficult to correct. Mine was originally almost sideways. While the correction is not 100% perfect it's signicantky improved and visibly you can't even tell. Notice the lower bicuspid in the upper photo is facing forward rather than turned. In the lower photo it appears as it should. Aligners tend to be a less successful mean sof fixing that specific problem since they don't use bands or bars, yet in my case the results are very satisfactory. Aligners are especially ideal for gaps. If you have a bite/now placement issue traditional braces might be required, but if your problem is more similar to mine these might be a much more affordable solution for you.

I can't tell about the particular tooth but your smile is pretty!!
Thank you!
I thought you were super cute with your gap, but now you care absolutely elegant, stunning
You must be thrilled! Tell me, did you do any bonding at the completion of treatment? Your teeth have such a perfect shape, so lucky. My teeth are wider at the bottom, such a drag, and no way to avoid the dreaded black triangle from my braces. I like the fact that you are a proven success story.so many dentists seem to put down SDC
I apologize for not seeing this sooner! No, no bonding. I agree that dentists tend to be negative about it- for one thing they lose business! And there are some people who really need bite correction, not just teeth alignment, so for that orthodontic treatment is necessary. But especially for gaps, this is a very successful treatment. I wish you the best of luck and thank you for your comment.

Exactly how long did you wear your braces? My teeth look very similar to how yours started out.
I wore them from April to june, a total of fourteen months, followed by nighttime only retainers.
