Im 26 and have I've been thinking about a BA since I was about 12. As soon as my boobs grew in I felt like they weren't "normal". I have no lower pole fullness and they're pointy, a bit triangular in shape, nothing like the girls boobs in magazines . I've always thought "well maybe it just runs in my family" but Just recently I saw my 24 year old sister's boobs . They were so pretty and full looking and by no means are hers big, they're just so beautifully shaped.

So, as soon as I realized that this wasn't a characteristic that ran in my family I've become even more obsessed with getting a breast augmentation. My priority really isn't to have big boobs just normal pretty ones. In my search for the perfect surgeon I've come to realize that this deformity to my breasts has a name, Tuberous breast/tubular breasts or constricted breasts. I've become really bossed with looking at before and after pictures of this corrective surgery and my biggest fear is that I will go through with a surgery that will only lead me to disappointment.

I have finally set my first consultation with Dr.Hardesty in Riverside, CA on Monday October 6, 2014. A friend of mine from high school highly recommended him and he has great reviews I'm just really hoping that he has experience correcting constricted breasts.

I tend to be the type of person who does a lot of research and when I find what I want it's what I get and I cannot be talked out of it. So I'm trying to keep a clear mind and remember that my first consultation doesn't have to be my choice doctor. Has anyone ever only had one consultation gone through surgery and been happy they didn't have a second or third?

How about a personal account of correcting constricted breasts? L

I'm so happy to hear you're the type of person to research a lot. I always suggest to members to get several doctor consults. The extra time and money are worth it. Your constricted breasts can be fixed...I've seen it time and time again on RealSelf. However, you're right. Be sure to find someone that has before and after pictures of their work with constricted breasts. I'm so excited for you. Please keep us posted!

Thank you for your comment, I loved the doctors bedside manner but he didn't have any pictures to show me. And I'll be sure to look specifically for prof of their expertise in this area. I've actually now been to a second consultation with a different doctor and was told that I didn't have tuberous breasts based on my measurements. And the first doctor did believe that I did. So now I'm looking for a third and possibly 4th and 5th opinions.

Good for you on getting more consults! Feel free to update your review with all the details you learn. Glad to see you're commenting on other reviews. The more comments you make, the more feedback/support you'll get in the long run. ;)

Have you decided if you are going to go thru with your procedure? I saw ur comment on colorfulsam's profile. I went to four other local Plastic surgeons until I decided to go to Dr. Bennett in victoria gardens. I am so happy as days go by. I had my BA on August 6 and had a very smooth recovery. I had no pain whatsoever. You should try and schedule a consultation with Dr. Della Bennett she is so sweet and very informative. Her and Dr. Hardesty used to work together you can see their videos here on Realself and youtube. You will love her (:
