I wanted to increase my breast size, while also fixing the asymmetry in my breasts. I am a Victoria's Secret B-cup, which probably means I'm an A-cup. I wanted to go up to a C, while achieving symmetrical and natural-looking breasts. I did weeks and weeks worth of focused research. I came across 5 top-rated plastic surgeons and scheduled consultations with all of them.
While some surgeons seemed great, others didn't seem confident that they could deliver the results I wanted. I also got mixed opinions on how to fix the asymmetry. Most told me I needed a breast lift on one side before adding the implants. However, this would add an ugly breast lift scar on just one boob, again going back to asymmetry. When I finally met Dr. Hardesty (he was my last consultation), he was very honest about the possible results, but also the most confident that he could give me what I wanted. He used to train a lot of the top plastic surgeons out there, so he really broke down the possible risks and results, which I appreciated. He showed me before and after pictures of patients who had similar issues to me and I was extremely impressed with the results. The best part? He would be able to do the surgery, give me the symmetry I wanted, without a breast lift!
I was worried one breast might sit higher or one might sag more, but after 30 years of experience, I knew Dr. Hardesty knew what he was talking about. We decided on 250CCs on my bigger breast and 300CCs on my smaller breast. We went with saline so during my surgery, he had more room to get my breasts as symmetrical as possible. Also, we went under the muscle. Apparently, going over the muscle causes them to sag prematurely and if you don't have enough breast tissue, makes them look really fake. I really like how Dr. Hardesty thoroughly went over every BA option with me, explaining each one so I could make an informed decision.
I was so nervous about the surgery, but Dr. Hardesty and his team took such great care of me, I really had nothing to worry about. He gave me prescriptions for any possible issue I might face, including anxiety, sleeplessness, pain, nausea, etc. I didn't use most of it, but it made me feel better that I had them on hand, if needed. The day of the surgery, honestly, was a breeze. Dr. Hardesty even prayed with me before the surgery, which I loved. The healing process was easier than I could have hoped for. I attribute that to Dr. Hardesty's skills as a plastic surgeon.
It's been a month since my surgery and I couldn't be happier! My breasts are exactly what I wanted. I am really excited with the great work Dr. Hardesty has done. Even the incisions were minimal and are healing great. His whole staff has been sweet, helpful, and attentive from the very first consultation to now. I have been meeting with Ashley, who is just the most wonderful PA I've ever met!
I will never even think of going to or recommending another plastic surgeon other than Dr. Hardesty. He is a magician and a great human being! He and his team are really the best!
