Risorios and Zygomaticus Hit with Botox

Thoughtful83322
2 weeks ago I did 86 units of botox, 50 masseter, 36 for forehead, glabella, crows feet, brow lift, temples (to not overcompensate for the masseter), that's what the dr said. That's my second treatment with Botox . First was 1 year ago. Right side us messed up. I can not elevate the corner of my mouth into smile, also looks like zygomaticus was also hit, because cheek is flat and cannot smile properly.Saggy right side, crooked smile. When this will improve, i really hope to regain muscle control fast after that, I exercise and I read that copper supplements might help or any serum with copper, what do you think? Is two times enough to make my muscle very weak and not be the same, also am I going to have forever asymmetrical face even when regain muscle control? Any recommendations or comments are much appreciated. Thank you.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. The effects of Botox are not permanent and will wear off with time. It should start to slowly improve after a few weeks to months depending on how many units that particular muscle received and you will regain full muscle control.

I'm going through a similar complication, how are you doing now, has there been any improvement since the procedure?

Does the amount of units influence the effect and/or the duration? I got bilateral Botox injections of 1.25U each in the m. zygomaticus minor and the m. zygomaticus major (so 5U in total, 4cc) - 6 weeks ago - and my smile on the left side is basically gone. The effect kicked it after one week and remained the same, left side only.

Masseter botox

Exactly 1 y passed. Now I have a question I will appreciate the comments . As you can see my smile improved after 1y,but my jaw is inwards now and I cannot chew with my molars. I can hear clicking and my jaw makes noises very weird sensation its getting worse. I developed pretty bad overbite and I would like to ask is it possible masseter botox to cause bone loss? My jaw feels very weak and my chin and lower face is very small. My face is very small and I did not loose weight.
