My experience with Dr. Rios was so amazing, i can't even put into words I'm just grateful for him and his staff for saving my life, for bringing back a unworried smile to my face and for giving me peace in mind. This is how my story begins, a year and half ago i was injected with Macrolane (Hyaluronic Acid). I noticed after 3 months my skin around my gluteus was turning red and eventually the redness turned into a brown color, right after my discoloration i began to feel a burning sensation in the same area as well as chronic back pain that radiated down to my legs. I was so confused as to what was happening to me i decided to look up my symptoms and thats when my research began, i discovered that i was injected with something i had no knowledge of it was called Liquid Silicone. Once i figured out the truth i got in contact with a plastic surgeon his name is Dr. Tansar Mir in New York city, Dr. Mir confirmed that i was injected with Liquid Silicone but he couldn't do anything about it until my symptoms worsened, and once i was very ill thats when he would do the surgery . Of course i wasn't okay with Dr. Mir's answer, i decided to continue my research and thats when i came across Dr. Carlos Alberto Rios, once i read all his amazing reviews i contacted one of his assistants Via email. Her name is Alejandra Ortega, she replied within a couple hours later she was very helpful and sweet. She put me in contact with Dr. Rios medical assistant, her name is Jessica Munoz from that moment on Jessica became like my guarding angel, she was caring, sweet, professional, she had so much knowledge in her line of work. She explained everything so clear and answer every question i had, and right away she asked me to send her pictures of my discoloration on my gluteus so Dr. Rios can take a look. A day later Jessica called me and told me that Dr. Rios saw the pictures and for sure new something was wrong, he send me to do an MRI, but i wanted to speak to Dr. Rios myself - he called me that same day. He was extremely nice and had so much experience with cases like mine before, he recommended that getting the liquid silicone removal early on was more beneficial to my health then waiting for my symptoms to worsen. Dr.Rios was positive he can get the job done through Video Endoscopic, soon after our conversation I spoke to Jessica and before planning my trip she wanted me to make sure i was healthy enough to indoor surgery, i got all my blood work done here in New York and i faxed my results to Dr. Rios and everything turned out good. I began to plan my trip to Cali, Colombia, everyday i spoke to Jessica she helped me plan my trip she recommend i stay at a Revital House (Its like a nursing home for post surgery patients) and thank god i chose that place because it was the most attentive place I've ever been too, they took care of me as if i was family. They had Nurses on 24 hour watch, they brought me to every Doctor visit i had, they cooked me healthy meals, i recommend that place to everyone. Came the day of my flight November 10th at 6am unfortunately my flight was delayed almost 20 hours, i never felt alone Jessica stood communicated with me through whats app through it all. She reassured me that everything was going to be okay, that it didn't matter what time i landed they had a driver waiting for me. I landed at 1am and my driver from Rivital House was there waiting for me, i felt very secured and protected. Once i got to the house jessica continued sending me messages making sure i was okay and safe, she was finally able to sleep in peace. The next day i saw Dr. Rios at 7am and he send me to do an MRI and later on that day i saw him again with my results, he explained every detail of my MRI to me in a way i completely understood, after viewing and studying my case he confirmed that doing Video Endoscopic was the best option for me. November 15th at 8am my surgery was done, thank god and Dr. Rios everything went great, i experienced no pain! I stood the night at the hospital because i wanted to not because i needed too, the next day i arrived at the house and later on that day my driver took me to the clinic Santuario for my massage appointment with Nurse Diana, she was an amazing nurse and person. Diana worried for my heath and she took great care of me, all of Dr. Rios staff were beautiful people they treated me like a princess. Dr. Rios everyday send me a message making sure i was doing okay until i got onto my flight back home. My most treasurable memory with Dr. Rios and his staff was on my 2nd check up visit which also was my birthday, they surprised me with a carrot cake and they sang me Happy Birthday, they made me feel as if i was home. They took such good care of my heath that they made sure the cake was made from fruits and not milk because they knew i couldn't consume that. I landed in New York December 6th its been 10 weeks post surgery and they still continue to check up on me, i feel so good I'm no longer experiencing back pains nor burning sensations. I will forever be grateful for him, i truly believe god placed him in my path so he can save my life, he gave me back time with my children which before i had believed were limited. I want the world to know that he is that best of what he does, he will give you that peace in mind you're searching for.
