6 days post implant removal

I am feeling much better since my surgery. The evening after my surgery i got sick from the anesthesia. I took 2 pain killers and I stopped taking them. The next day I got some extra strength tylenol and it worked just fine to get rid of the pain. I haven't taken anything for pain in a few days. So, i am fine. I do have a 1 year old and holding her can be a little painful but i try to hold her so that she does not bump into my breasts. When I saw my breasts for the first time, I was sort of shocked by how saggy they are. Well, not really. My implants were really heavy. They actually looked worse than they do today! If you can believe that. ;) I am happy they are out. I feel so relieved. I knew that i really wanted them out but honestly i did not know i would feel as great as I do. My breasts are flat but they feel heavy when i take off the sports bra, so i take it off as little as possible. I do feel like a breast is in my future for that reason and because, well i still have the same issue is began with, saggy breasts. I have heard women say that the breasts fluff up after some time after implant removal. I am hoping that it will be true for me too. Time will tell, but for now I am happy to be back to natural me.

I had my implant put in march of 2003 after breastfeeding 2 kids. I had another baby in 2013 and breastfed 16 months. Over the year I gained about 30 pound and my boob were a lot bigger. I definitely experienced back pain and neck pain. I am hoping it was because of the implants and now that they are out the pain will be gone. Glad to have my body back to its natural state. So far i have no pain but it has only been about 2 hours since the surgery. I had local anesthesia. I am wearing a compression wrap that was placed on me after the surgery was done but I feel like i need something with more support. I havent gotten to see what my breasts look like yet but I will update with pics if they dont look too bad.

I met a nice woman in a facebook explant group who referred me to Dr. Ravi. She also had her explant done by him. I met him and his assistant when i had my consultation and let me tell you, they are so sweet. They were so patient and informative when i asked about 20 questions. I am so thankful to have met him. I met some other women in the waiting area who had known him for years. They told me how wonderful he was and they were right. The day of my surgery was just perfect. I went home a very happy woman.
