Alright, labs and EKG done today. I am so anxious to get this going, definitely not excited about the pain but looking forward to the results. Pre-op appointment in 2 weeks, starting to gather the necessities while binging on RS and You Tube. So glad to be going on vacation next week to relax my mind. Happy healing to all those that have made it to the Flat Side and we're almost there for those scheduled in the future. STAY POSITIVE AND BE BLESSED

before and after pics

A few before and after pics, had lipo of the flanks and a little muscle repair. Drains are filling a few times a day, well left drain more than the right. Lipo areas are very tender to the touch, i've used some Arnica gel, may need to apply more often. I have been eating fresh pineapples and I made some bone broth before hand.

omg........on the flat side / surgery day / post op day 1

Good evening RS family, i've made it to the flat side. I am so, so
happy right now. My surgery was at 7 30am, i was home by 12 30. No pain
at all, just feels very tight. I did take the pain meds (oxycodone)
every 4hrs until 12 30am, Only took 2 extra strength Tylenol this
morning at 10 30, nothing since. I've been walking every hour around the
house. No problem eating, liquids yest normal diet today. Of course
lots of trip to the bathroom but no BM. I also took a shower this
morning, drains aren't a problem for me. Overall, i feel great, praying
it continues. I will post pics once i get them. Thanks for all the
support

Wow! I'm so impressed you are weaning off the pain meds so fast! I thought I was being brave stopping after day 4! Ha! I'm so glad your recovery is going well. I've been wondering how it went for you!

I'm amazed how fast I came off the mess also, haven't had any as of post op day 1 and i feel great..... Thanks for your support
