Trying to Improve Overall Skin Appearance - Richmond, VA

sona med spa is running a buy 1 get 2 free special for different treatments, laser being one of them. i decided to give it a try since i do have a few scars on my face, large pores, and slight discoloration. well i ended up showing up maybe 15 minutes early and didnt get seen for almost an hour. i had numbing gel on my face so by then it had worn off. oh well. i go in and the whole thing is explained to me, which was great, especially for people who hadnt researched it before , although of course i had. the procedure probably took about 20 minutes total. she went over my entire face and neck, other than my eyelids. i was given goggles for eye protection. it really felt like a hot rubber band or like laser hair removal in the bikini area. i was very happy when the whole thing was finished haha. my face and neck were so red after and continued to darken for about an hour. my skin also burned so bad, it reminded me of getting greased popped on my skin while cooking. the good news is that i live 2 hours away and had the a.c. blowing full blast on my face the entire ride home and when i got here my face didnt hurt anymore. i took a nap and when i woke up a few hours later it was almost like i hadnt gotten anything done at all. i ran my finger over my face to check and yes its sensitive lol. i was told not to really expect any difference from this one treatment and that most people start seeing changes after the second or third treatment and up to 6 months after. im really excited to finished my package and really relieved that it went so well, esp after reading so many horror stories on here. i had gotten laser hair removal at a different place and thats where i was first recommended to do the pixel. of course i dont know how things will go until after my 3rd session, but i have a feeling im going to be happy that i went through with it.

Just updating with some photos. So far so good. My face is sensitive but I doubt anyone would know I had anything done. Now I can't wait for 2 more

well my face is dry today. it hasnt started peeling yet but it feels yucky. when i touch it it feels like sandpaper, but without touching it it feels like greasy cat hair stuck to my face. im impatiently waiting for it to all peel off. blah. i dont look bad though. i was out and about all day today
