So I had a mini arm lift on the 15th. I have been posting all along to the tummy tuck section, but decided to add this now. I was originally scheduled to have a "t" incision arm lift, short scar, with lipo. The day of surgery I was marked for that and all. I woke up with mini arm lift tho. I was told at my follow up when I asked why, that he did vaser lipo should help the skin retract and he didn't think I needed what was originally planned, the lipo seemed to be working so he went with it. Currently I feel like my arms are stills fat, and flabby and kind of deflated/loose. I don't even really any swelling, but I know my tummy tuck is still very swollen so hopefully my arms still have shrinking to do. My PS it take 3 months to see effects of vaser lipo to continue wearing my compression garmet. That you can always take more skin out but once I have the large scar it will always be there and at my age (25) my skin should retract more than I think. So that's my story so far. I will try to share pics but for right now they are attached to my tummy tuck review lol.

Hi Do you have another blog? If so, what name is it under? I'm considering having an extended TT & mini arm lift / short scar (that only appears in the crease of the arm pit) but I'm concerned that the recovery maybe too severe. How's your healing thus far? Update please? Thanks!

I posted under the tummy tuck forum. But so far honestly it's not too too bad. I would do it again. The abdominal muscle pain was prob the worst part. Like sneezing or sitting up. But has gotten better now. You prob won't even notice your arms for the first few days. But I developed the seroma and that and swelling is really uncomfortable. I Went back to work on light duty right before 3 wks. I'm sure you will do fine, as long as you have someone with you for the first 3-4 days, take your pain medicine, and don't do too much too soon( even shower) you will be fine.
