I was very disappointed I saw little to no changes after surgery. I had the Neck, Jowl and the Eyebrow Lift. The neck was ok but the eyes are still saggy and the saggy Jowl still no change. At a later date I will have to have these redone with someone else. Dr. Godin said he could redo the eyes for extra charge. I paid $17000.00 and did not see hardly any changes.
Just please do your homework if you are thinking of having a facelift or other work done.

I also went to Dr. Godin for a facelift and had the neck and jowl done at the same time. I am not pleased at all with the facelift and the jowl area and spoke with him about it but he kept saying to give it time. It has been a year and there is still no change in the saggy jowl. He also said if I wanted anything redone there would be an extra charge. Check references and do your homework and talk to people that have gone to various Plastic surgeons as they are supposed to give you names of people that have agreed to have their name given out and you can see before and after pictures of people that have agreed to have their face shown. It is a huge investment to not get what you want.

I am sorry that happen to you too. He said he was not aggressive enough with the browlift. My left eye brow is higher than the left one..
I have talked with another Dr. I will have my eyes fixed in a month or so. My saggy jowl is the same and that will have to be done also. I am retired and work part time and can not afford a lot more money. Its really a shame that you spend that much money and see no difference. What are your plans? I do have before and after pictures that I took.
I am glad we can post and let other people know our experience. I am sorry I did not check farther than what I did.

I am out of money and won't be doing anything else. I am so sorry that your left eye brow is higher . Good luck with having your eyes fixed and your jowls and I hope that you have checked that PS out but I am sure that you have.

It really is a shame we had to pay a lot of money and not satisfied.
I am just trying to figure how to come up with the money to get things fixed.
I wished I had not had this done or gone to another Dr. but he had 5 stars you really can`t go by that.

Yes you are right. I wished I had found this website before I had the facelift I really could have saved my money and still got things done.

My neck and jowl area needs redone. I have gotten Jevaderm I am going back and getting more 1 bottle wasn`t enough in my chin and jowl area. But I am on Warfirn a blood thinner if I have surgery I have to come off of it and I don`t like to do that I am afraid of another bloodclot. Dr. Godin said he would fix my eyes because they are still
saggy and I wouldn`t have to come off the blood thinner he was going to charge me 4,000 more OMG that did it I really got scared, I prick my finger and I really blood and he wanted to cut on me and I am still on blood thinners. I don`t think so.

Yes 4,000 and one eyebrow is higher then the other. They are still saggy it looks like I had nothing done to them.

I still have not had anything done at this point. I have had fillers and I am happy with those but I can`t keep getting fillers to expensive. I have a great Dr. now. Dr Bridges very good Dr. I do trust him. Lots of great reviews. We will see what I will do.....money is the issue

Definitely not happy with my results with Dr. Godin either. It is like throwing thousands and thousands of dollars away for nothing. Looks nothing like he said it would. As far as his 5 star ratings, I feel his staff rates him and they also are busy extracting bad patient reviews from websites. Plastic surgeons -in -training do a lot of the surgery on you and he is not even present in the room!

I get upset to when I think of the money he took me for. I could have bought a new car.
He really doesn`t have a 5 stars I am sure his staff deletes them out. He has a three star on here I wished we had seen this before we went to him.

I know! If only I had known about this site I would be thrilled with my results , by another surgeon! Yes, his staff probably does delete and also write the good reviews! Horrible. How people can lie to your face, knowing they can't do what they promise, makes one sick! This is the only ratings site one can trust in my opinion. As to the thousands spent and wasted, we have no recourse but to try to forget the waste. Going back and paying more for him to correct it would be irrationally ludicrous! sigh....

Embarrassingly, I have to admit that I have been reading reviews and writing them on this site for at least six years, and I was too stupid to read any about Godin because I had gone to him for several years post-2001 and wasn't dissatisfied. I should never have gone back yesterday after he wouldn't do what I had requested in 2014, i.e., injections for a few scars he had done previously.

Probably made more money off you by doing what he wanted. I'm still reeling from my $$$$$ injections-he did the area I wanted, and then kept on-it was horrible. The result was the front of my face looked puffed and the sides looked flat-when I would smile, it was even worse-all up front. He went against my explicit want, and then charged me an enormous fee. I dislike him very much for tricking me.

I know I spent a lot of money and have nothing to show for it. I have had some Jevederm but 1 bottle and I need more just in my chin that is about all. I would never go back to him.

I am livid and revolted by what you and others have suffered. I'm ticked off that I went against my instincts and went back to him yesterday after not having seen him for a couple of years, when I did trust my instincts!! Take a look at the Best Docs 2016 in Richmond Magazine online.

I don`t mind paying but I do want what I paid for I feel I didn`t get that. That was alot of money wasted. Now I have to go to another Dr. when they ask who did the facelift I tell them Dr. Godin. I will not cover up anything. I will tell the truth.

Just be careful. There are alot of great Dr. in Richmond. I had some Jevederm a couple of weeks ago but wasn`t enough I am going back for some more.

Photos of his previous patients are perhaps before Parkinson's , in my opinion, became an issue.

Does he tell patients that he has parkinson's...I noticed that he was very shaky and even mentioned it to his scheduler after some filler last year.

What did the scheduler say? No, he didn't tell me, and I doubt tells anyone, in my opinion. I heard it when someone said something about the disease when referring to him. It's so infuriating to pay a high price for a professional plastic surgeon with years of experience and then it's a trainee doing a lot of the work. Just immoral in my opinion. He also says he will be the one doing all the surgery. Makes me ill to think of the wasted money. To me, it's criminal.

No He didn`t say anything. I really didn`t know until I read it on here. I had Juvederm injections yesterday. I think I will go with the fillers I don`t really want to go under the knife again. I really like the Dr. I went to yesterday he is honest and I appreciate that.

Me too! Except the sags are worse and I have scars I paid a ton of money for. It pains me to think of others going thru this too-simply because of not knowing of this website where the docs have no control over the factual reviews!

I'm sure the patient would be blamed for the horrible outcome by the Dr. and staff. I even have stitches poking thru in different areas in the inside of my ears and one scar sits out 3/4 of an inch from where it should be-right next to my ear-yes, the scar is on the side of my face and is very obvious. Hopefully the next surgeon can undo this travesty and fix it!

I am sorry. My scares healed good and do ok . There just isn`t any difference in before and after. I have pictures they all look the same. People ask me did you have your facelift when I say yes they say well they can`t tell the difference even my hair dresser. I could kick myself for not finding this website.

I'm very disillusioned as far as how I trusted Dr. Godin and his assistant, Rebecca. I believed the things they told me and got totally ripped off for thousands of dollars. They also said the anesthesiologist was a board certified M.D. Then when you get there for the surgery, they tell you the Dr. Couldn't make it, but they have a nurse anesthesiologist to do it. They never had the M.D. Anesthesiologist to begin with! The lies they tell are horrendous IMHO. Straight to your face and with a smile! Awful people-just awful.

OMG this really scares me. I have problems when I am put to sleep. He said the Anesthesiologist was a woman she was good. If I had know this I would never had the surgery. Lisa was there when I had mine. Rebecca was nice. The girls behind the desk was quite didn`t have much to say. I just had a hip replacement May 11 and when I am put to sleep everything goes wrong. This is just not right.

I don`t know her that well. Lisa was like him too. She would say oh you look great and I can see a difference. When I couldn`t. Lisa finally quit.

No I didn`t. I like Lisa but she said my insurance would pay some. She kept filing the papers wrong about 4 times. By the time I got everything straight the dead line was up for me to file the papers. But I did like Lisa.

I think I did speak to the anesthesia worker because I have a lot of problems being put to sleep. I had no drains put in. Did You? I had a blood clot in the back left side that he had to get out.

No drains. The anesthesia worker I had was a male anesthesia nurse because they said the female anesthesiologist Doctor could not make it in that day. Ha!

All comments above are my opinion, of course. I feel the anesthesiologist was a nurse anesthesiologist, but that is simply what I was told.

(Told I was to have a female anesthesiologist who I know does good work because I requested an anesthesiologist Dr. Then I get there for the surgery and they said my anesthesiologist was this guy-who I believe is not a Dr. And is a nurse anesthesiologist ! Scary!

I wholeheartedly agree - something has definitely changed with him, and I too am disappointed with results of face/neck lift. He had done a rhinoplasty and chin implant 20 years earlier and did a fantastic job. I feel like he really does not listen anymore to MY concerns, because he he too busy praising his work and telling me how great it all looks. Super let down !

He has lost most of his skill in my opinion, and has a novice/trainee do most of the surgery in my opinion- and that is probably why everyone'S looking bad afterward. If we wanted a novice plastic surgeon, we would have gone to one and paid much, much less. I don't feel Godin cares about our disappointment-he simply sees dollar signs from redos and corrections. Sickening and let'S hope others read up on him before trusting him with their faces.

I wanted to see if you received a letter in the mail from Dr. Godin. He has opened a office in Los Angeles. New Port Beach and San Diego plus here in Richmond. I am still very upset with my facelift.

Did you receive a letter? I was invited to a Christmas get together. I can`t believe I received this letter. Oh yes they will be fooled also. The other guy that in with him on Libbie Ave. he isn`t a Dr. he will be giving injection like Botox etc.

Oh, that's someone different-I don't know if he's a doctor or not. The only plastic surgeon in that office is Godin. Apparently there are trainee/s there who do a lot of the work and surgery.
