Day 18

I am no longer in pain. I think the pain stopped around day 10 or so. Still slightly numb but more sensation than before. I have to make sure i apply some sort of lotion or oil to my tummy though because it can be quite itchy, usually jutst at night for some reason. It is sorta like a mosquito bite type of it where the more i scratch, the more it itches so i try my best to ignore it. Surprisingly, I notice a change already. I'll post pics. I was told i wouldn't see any thing until 4 weeks out but it's been a little over 2 weeks and i notice a change, do you?

I shoulda read more reviews first!

Tomorrow, it will be one week since I had my coolsculpting done. The first day after i did it I had very minimal pain because i was still pretty numb. The only time i felt pain is if I bumped into something or my cat rudely walked over my stomach. day 2 after the proceedure i started to feel the itching that I kept reading about. day 3 the itching was still there and i started having random sharp pains but only where i had the large applicator ( on my lower tummy). My flanks didn't and still don't bother me. day four i was so anxious for monday to roll around because i was told if the pain worsened that that would call something in for me. I went practically sleepless for two nights becaue of the sharp pains so i gave in a call the office. They prescribed me vicodin and some pain patches but my insurance wont cover the patches so all i have is the vicodin. Right now on day 6, my flanks feel pretty much back to normal. no real discomfort or numbness or itching. but my tummy. . . .YIKES. it's a burning sensation. Sunburn maybe or maybe my skin feels chaffed? i dunno i just know it's awful and i can't seem to find relief. the vicodin doesn't stop the pain, it just knocks me out so i can at least SLEEP!! so ready to feel normal again :(

I just had the procedure today so it will be a while before i see results but everything was great. I was very comfortable. I even took a little nap!! It didn't hurt until after the machine came off and my skin had to to adjust temperatures again. It was a "frost bite" sort of feeling. During the procedure it was just a strong sucking sensation that kind of masked the coldness. After a while i didn't feel anything, i guess i went numb. I had intense cramping after my abdomen was done and i think it's because it even suctioned my muscles but the pain went away after 10 minutes or so. A member of his staff, Ashley, tended to me and made sure i was okay with proceeding with my flanks after the first sight. I appreciated her concern of my comfort level.

He is great. I like the fact that he seemed to remember me from a seminar that he held. He made me feel good about my possible outcome by telling me i was a great candidate for it and i felt he was being genuine about it. I've had breast augmentation from another doctor but if i decide to get them redone, i think i will go with Dr. Sudin.
