I had the procedure 18 days ago & I am healing good & pain at a minimum. I had reduction & reconstruction. However, I have sleep apnea which caused my heart to race at the end of my recovery. If you are considering any procedure that requires you to be put to sleep, make sure you are tested for sleep apnea first. I never knew I had it until then.

Oh my goodness Richmond Girl! That is a serious thing . My husband uses a machine for sleep apnea. He has to use it and now he won't sleep without it . Please follow up with you PCP for that . Also congrats on your surgery . So glad to hear you are healing well. Please continue to do so .
Thank you glittergal, I am now on a C Pap machine but having this sleep apnea has caused my recovery to be slower. I need serious sleep but I'm trying to adapt to the machine
Yes I can see why your recovery has been slow going . It took my husband some time to adjust to his machine . Hang in there .
