Hi fellow Richmonder. My surgery is on the 28th with Dr. Wornom. I am nervous, but so glad to get my 32J breasts down. I am so tired of the identions, sore skin, sore neck, back, shoulders, and expensive bras. Thank you so much for your encouraging post.

Did your insurance cover it or did you have to pay 6k out of pocket?

Hi, i had my reduction done on April 28th by Dr. Wornom. The worst part was the drains coming out. Otherwise a lot of tenderness, but no real pain. I hate the way Percocet makes me feel, so after the first 24 hrs when the drains came out, I took ES Tylenol. My energy was bad esp the first 2 weeks, but by 4 weeks I was back to work. Its truly the best thing I could have ever done. I have insurance through my job. They actually paid over the amount of the procedure, so all I paid out of pocket was $35. I didnt even have to pay the full outpatient copay. True blessing!
