I've been reading through this sight ever since I decided I wanted to get a breast augmentation. We just moved to the area and had no idea who to go to. I chose one from this site and the other was recommended by my primary care doctor. I really liked the doctor that was referred to me. It was a huge shock at my consultation that I would also need a lift. I hated the idea of the additional scars but also hated the look of them before. Following the consult when I was thinking clearly I booked my surgery. I ended up having to reschedule due to an infection in one of my molars. After handling that, I rescheduled to yesterday, September 18. My biggest fear in all of this was being put out on anesthesia. Honestly, I do not remember a thing. I remember saying good bye to my husband and waking up really nauseous. I used the patch behind my ear but it didn't seem to help. The nurses gave me 2 bags of anti nausea medicine and it finally helped some, they also gave me a pain pill. I had planned on being out of there around noon but it ended up being 2:30 when we finally left the hospital. I got there at 6 am! I did get sick once at home but have been taking the anti nausea pills along with pain medication. I'm wearing a compression bra and wrapped in an ace bandage. Tomorrow I get to shower (yay!) and see how everything looks. Besides some pressure and being a little sore, quick movements kill me! It's not as bad as I thought it would be. I went with 350 cc under the muscle. I'm 5'4' and 120 lbs. I will try to post pictures as soon as I can. The toughest part is not being able to hold and hug my babies. The surgery was at St Mary's and the nurses there were great!

Trying to recover with little ones around is harder than I thought. Trying to get some rest in when I can. My husband helped me shower and rewrap myself. I thought I was going to pass out from it all. I was so excited to see but couldn't look yet! He says they look great though but one is higher than the other. That should work itself out, right?

It's itchy under the bra and wrap, is that normal?

September 21, 2015
I'm a little itchy today from where my bra touches my skin. My incisions are under my nipple not my breast so I'm not itchy under there. How are things going otherwise?

It hasn't been too bad, if I make sudden movements it hurts. I've been staying on top of my meds, taking them every 4 hours so I think that helps. Sometimes I feel like a tingling feeling. I'm bloated too, are you?

September 23, 2015
Yes-I am still bloated, the swelling from my breasts has moved down into my tummy so hopefully it moves out soon! How are you feeling today? Has your ps advised you to stretch? stretching really helped mine not feel as tight.

I'm feeling ok. Switching to ibuprofen as I really need to drive on Friday. Still sore and feel like I can sleep all day! He didn't mention the stretching but I still have some upper pole fullness so I have to keep the ace bandage on another week, ugh!

I have to keep my compression bandage on as well for another week too. I'm 9 days post now and I'm really good. I started stretching lots at 6 days post and on day 7 I woke up with out any tightness. I am a stretching maniac now because I haven't felt better. I started back at the gym today but just did a spin class. Had my boobs in a lulu sports bra with the band and a t-shirt, lol

Today was hardest so far
Bella1007September 21, 2015
My husband had to go back to work today so I had to care for my 2 year old myself and didn't get any rest. I feel really sore and a lot of pressure. Took my pain meds so hopefully will feel better soon.

Hi, I found day 3 the worst too, I think it's a combination of all the drugs whilst in hospital wearing off, but it does get easier but patients is the key! Can't imagine trying to recover with a little one! Mine are all much older so wasn't as hard, hope your getting some rest when needed x
