I was very hesitant and couldn't decide between sculpsure or cool sculpting. After meeting Dr Shaw I felt comfortable and decided to go ahead and try the latest laser for zapping away my 46 year old "menopausal arms". After he evaluated me and explained the procedure the assistants came in & hooked me up. The set up does take a bit of time because the arms are very heavy and if they are not on just right they beep at you. During the treatment you can feel the intense heat (peaks) and then the cooling ...the nurse was great she kept me company to keep my mind off the sudden "hot" spots. After 25 minutes you are all done ...ladies you can feel the heat afterwards..almost like a sunburn and you do feel a bit sore. I did get the lumpiness a few days later and I massaged the area to break it down..:it made me happy to think those "clumps" were dead fat cells ready to be flushed away!!! I'm about 4 weeks out and I thought I would post this pic to show the subtle change I am experiencing now. I definately see more of a lift and the skin doesn't seem to hang as much..so I am hopeful the treatment worked. I am not sure about the price yet as I think it is very expensive in the long run in comparison to lipo...I believe arm lipo is around 3-6K. I do wish Dr Shaw would offer a complimentary follow up treatment to see further reduction since I'm not sure about the 25% reduction. I think I read somewhere the easiest way to explain it is if you are looking at your four fingers with your crossed over your palm and you take one finger away that's 25% but on an arm it is hard to judge. I have also seen cool sculpting results that look to be very impressive on the arms but it doesn't seem to be consistent across the board. I wish I had taken better pics but hopefully you can see the lift I think I'm seeing. Also I did my right outside thigh which had that lumpy cottage cheese look and I think I'm noticing less there as well..again very subtle. My daughter noticed the "dimpling" was less when I was sitting...you know what I'm talking about ..those little dimples when u sit n they smile back at you.

I'm glad you see the difference! I have not been dieting, eating clean or exercising so I'm glad I'm seeing some results.

Dear Beauty addict. For being only 4 weeks out, your results look impressive in your photos. I had the treatment personally about 7 weeks ago and am seeing good results. Remember that optimal results are 6-12 weeks so you are still early. We do offer complementary follow ups which I like to do at the 8 week mark. I apologize that my staff did not schedule this for you immediately after your treatment. Please give us a call to schedule. We will do after photos and compare to get a good idea of your results. Im glad you are also noticing some early results with your thigh! We look forward to seeing you soon and please give us a call if you have any concerns.

Thank you for letting me know and I will definately schedule my follow up with your office..but does that follow-up include a complimentary Sculpsure session..of course, im hopeful because of the cost :(
I am so excited to see the retraction of my skin because one of my worries was that I would not see that with cool sculpting. Dr Shaw if you could please post pics of yourself because I would love to show my husband the results. Also I have seen that it can be used on "man boobs" ..have you done this procedure to any patients and have you seen any results in that area.

I am going to take my after photos at the 12 week mark so I can know exactly how much change occurred . Im happy to share those with you when you come for follow up. Sculpsure can be used on "man boobs" (gynecomastia) in an off-label manner, just like the arms.

I can see a significant difference. Wow! How long did the post-treatment pain last? :)

Actually it wasn't bad at all. The area near the armpit got super hot at times during the procedure and it felt hot to the touch afterwards and probably through the next day ..but it was very tolerable. I massaged the area as instructed and I used arnica for the first two days ..honestly not bad at all. The hardest part of it all was getting the arms of the machine to hook up properly. I have seen other patients here complain that it didn't work but I think that you need to have that "pillow" of fat in the first place to see results. Also if you have more than that pillow of fat you probably need more than one session. I met someone who had done Sculpsure three times to see the results she wanted but she did tell me she had more pinchable than I did. So I guess at that point you have to decide whether u want to do lipo and deal with incisions n the recovery time or just shell out the cash and the patience to wait for the results and do Sculpsure.

Those photos are in Facebook, under several medical staff. Weird!

So you think they are fake?

Maybe, or they stole them from here.
