Wow you look amazing!! So glad your healing was quick and it looks as though you have no swelling or bruising left!!! That's really great!! I'm hoping this swelling above the incision goes down quickly. It is raised about 3/4 an inch away from my skin. I want to see something more resembling human :)

Don't worry! It will! I still have done slight swelling around the incision but in the beginning it was really bad!! I still wear my binder some just because it makes me feel better. Not because I need it. I'm so glad you're feeling better!!!!!

2 Weeks Post-Op Today!

I'm 2 weeks post-op today! I feel great! I feel about 85% back to normal. I'm standing completely straight (my back thanks me), & lifting my children fine. I'm back to caring for them 100%. I saw my PS yesterday & he said I look great! I can resume light exercise next week. He wants to see me in 4 weeks & he's going to take pictures of me to compare "before & after". I can't wait! I haven't taken anything for pain in over a week. I'm sleeping without my binder & on my sides comfortably! All in all, this has been a great experience & I'd do it again in a heartbeat! Worth every $$$. I have my self confidence back & I haven't had that in years! So thankful! I'll post my 2 week pictures that I took this AM. Hope everyone else is healing nicely! Good luck to those who are about to have their surgery!

Wow your experience sounds great and gives me hope that it won't be the worst thing ever. I get my TT and breast reduction on March 26th.

Congrats to you! I know you are excited! Just stay on your pain meds around the clock in the beginning. And rest! You'll be fine! Good luck! I hope you're experience will be great like mine has been!

I feel great! No complaints at all! I'm headed back to my PS tomorrow for my 2 week checkup & if everything looks good, I won't need to go back for 6 weeks! How about you?!?? How are you doing??
February 15, 2015
I'm slow going! Haha. I am having some drainage issues. And oddly enough my lady bits are very swollen. They said that is normal when you swell. Oh my!! I can move well enough but slowly. I go tomorrow and they will likely remove my drain. I hope they don't need to add another to remove the excess swell that is on the right side only. :( Are you moving about normally or still slowly?

I'm moving about normally now. At first it was slow. Did they remove your drains? I hope you didn't have to get another one! Sending you thoughts! Are you feeling any better?

Two weeks and totally back to normal? God bless girl!! I am still very stiff and sore (day 8 post op). Also a bit lumpy where the drainage issue occurred but that will flatten out when the swelling goes down. I am about to take a few extra days off of work because I think starting a five day work week next Monday is too ambitious. I'm no wimp, but this has not been easy!! Congrats to you on feeling and. Looking so fabulous!!

Well I will tell you that I did a TON of research & reading other people's experiences with this before I had my surgery & went into this expecting to be in agony because every story that I read said so. So I am also very shocked at how well my recovery went. Just know that most people say it is very painful & a very difficult recovery. I think I just got lucky! Hang in there & rest! Take some more time off & let your body heal! Keep me posted on your progress!

I'm doing much better! Day 11... Quick question is abdomen still numb? I am unable to feel much in a large square of my belly scar up to my rib cage and equal width across. He said that's normal but was curious about you. I'm still stiff but moving about so hopefully that will help. I'm also very bruised on both hips (no lipo was done). Who knows why, I guess everyone heals differently.

Is your abdomen, forgot the your above ;)

Yes! Most of my tummy is numb. My PS said that from under the belly button to the pubic bone will always be numb but that I should regain feeling above the belly button eventually! I can tell that the nerves above the belly button are trying to heal because it feels very tingly. I can only guess that it's the nerves trying to repair themselves. I also had a lot of bruising around my incision but it's gotten better. Still have some light bruising at this point. I'm so glad you are feeling better!!! You've made it through the worst part & now it's just up from here!!!

Ok, just checking! I'm super swollen which is making me uncomfortable when I sleep. I am flat on my back with a pillow under my knees but my body is dying to get on it's side. Your pics don't show much bruising, you look phenomenal!!! I look like a UFC fighter ;) The itchiness is also starting... Were you told you could put anything on? Neosporin? Mederma? And finally, are you still wearing your compression garment for support? Thanks!!
