6 Weeks Post Op!
It's been six weeks and I feel fabulous! The surgery was the best decision I've ever made and has truly made a difference with my self esteem. All of the bad things that I read before the surgery almost had me change my mind. I'm glad that I didn't!
Here's a little timeline of my progress:
Day 3-4 PO- Up walking swiftly, mild assistance showering and washing hair, slept in recliner
Week 1 PO- 1 Drain tube out, walking better, less shower assistance, sleeping in bed on back
Week 2 PO- Both drains out!!!! (BEST DAY EVER!) Still walking hunched over, mild swelling, and tiny twinges of pain if I move too quickly, back to work at 12 days PO!
Week 3 PO- Felt like myself, still a little fatigued but overall like "me". Trouble sleeping still, belly button still healing slowly.
Week 4-5 PO- Feel absolutely normal!
Week 5-6 PO- Finally sleeping on my sides, belly, back, etc. Bought my first 2 bikinis! Will post pics soon.
Ladies, I would recommend a lot of research on surgeons before deciding to have a mommy makeover. This is a very long (8 hours for me) and extensive surgery. I am thankful that my surgeon took tons of time to sit down and talk to me personally and explain what to expect and listen to my expectations. He was very much so a perfectionist! I would do this all over again! Some say that this surgery was worse than their C-Section and I would say that it was easier (pain wise). Good Luck!

Day 5 post op
My mommy makeover has been one of the best experiences thus far. It's been everything I thought it would be minus some of the pain that others fully warned about. I've taken a shower daily and slept in the bed for the first time last night. My husband says I'm a "tank" and I'm handling everything so well. I'm still walking a little hunched over but feeling great! My incision is beautiful! Dr. Reps Sundin was able to take away all of vertical scar except about a 1/2 inch that's now right at my "hoo-ha". My breast are firm and a little tender but have a great shape and look. I would recommend this surgery for anyone who has a little shame in their after weightloss or baby appearance or even those that have had medical scarring (like me). I'm starting to love me and the skin I'm in! Even picked out my first bikini ever!!!
2 days post op
It's been two days! Surgery was a little longer than expected and took about 8 hours. Surgeon said everything went wel. Night one I stayed in the hospital and slept well. Day 2 was a little rough initially. Pain meds weren't working well and it took most of the day to find something to work. The first attempt to get up and walk was very rough. I got up and made it to the restroom but ended up getting overwhelmed and dizzy. I laid back down and rested for a few more hours and was fianlly discharged around 8pm. The first night at home was great with the exception of getting up every 2 hours to tinkle! Side note: raised toilet seat is awesome! My husband has been a rock star during this time ! I'm moving along pretty good by myself today and looking forward to getting back to myself!

My initial consult with Reps was awesome and I knew he was the surgeon I wanted to go with. He had a great demeanor and was very informative of each procedure that I would be having. He took extra time with me and answered my questions directly without leaving the staff to do it. Dr. Sundin assured me that I would love my results and I truly am doing just that! Dr.Sundins staff is just as amazing! From the time you walk in the front door to the time you leave you are treated with the utmost respect and kindness. Cissy and Ashley have been two of the biggest decision factors and greatest encouragement during this journey. I feel like I have known these ladies for my whole life and they are truly the best!
