I had two consults and ended up going with the second. Dr. Robyn Watts. She was amazing at the consult. Professional, attentive and was really into wanting to know what my goals are.
I have never had a flat stomach. I was a heavy teen and young adult. Once i had my first child my weight loss journey started. After pregnancy my weight got to 261lbs. Lost aprox 40 ish lbs after then got prego with my second went down to my smallest as an adult 185 lbs. Prego with the third after lost to 199lbs. prego again with my last then lost and now stable at 195-200lbs. I am happy with my body overall. Its the only one i got and its got me through alot. But this is something for me. I go to the gym 3-5 days a week but my stomach cant be helped no matter what since its alot of extra skin.
I cant wait to wear a bikini for the first time in my life. Seriously thats my goal. I am young not perfect at all but I am happy in my skin.... just want a little less.

Went to see my PS signed all the papers. Got all the perscriptions and info. Also got all my questions answered. Seems like alot of what I was worried about stems around the pain after. The PS pointed that out lol. It's hard to know what to expect. But I guess it's like the unknown of having a baby. You just don't know. And in the end we get through it.

I will definitely be following your journey closely, sounds very familiar. I was also considering Dr Watts and have not yet settled on a physician yet still have time to weigh my options (shooting for September of this year) If you dont mind me asking...how tall are you? and who else did you consult with?

I am 5'7" weight 198lbs currently. Have ypu gone for a consult with her yet? She is amazing! I also had a consult with Dr. Mosher he did not make me feel good about my possible results as well as my body shape. Specifically je pointed to my hips and said "you have very big hips" i replyed Yes... he said it like it was a bad thing. I am a woman, i have had 4 kids and i love my big hips! and i think i will love them even more after the procedure. Also not that it matters extremly but im getting way more from dr. watts to improve my final result. with only a 10% extra cost compared.

Thats awesome feedback, I was actually considering him as well. I work in Healthcare so he was suggested by a co worker but more often then not the interaction you have proffesionally can be hugely diffrent then personal. I am about the same height and sitting at 200 now, Id like to get down to around 175 180 before going under but I am seriously startig to look at my future consults as I am very close to my goal weight, for me personally. I have 1 son and have yo yoed over the years aswell so I definitely understand the back amd fourth. Thank you for being so open and sharing you experience thus far.. I look forward to reading you updates

I considered trying to lose more but I feel i am at a liveable for me weight. and if i lose a bit more thats cool but i want to be able to have a glass of wine sometimes lol. I work out and eat well. So im good. I have never been my suggested weight for my height since i was like 14/15 so i dont expect to be that now. But i expect to choose health and thats what i do :)

also i was suggested Dr M thats why he was my first but went with my gut. she specializes in weight loss patients so that seemed more like what I am dealing with even though i didnt lose medically just through my own journey :)

Hi Vdub! By my calculations you'll be having your surgery in only TWO more sleeps! You must be soooo scare-cited! Just trust in your PS choice and let her work her magic. And then do all you can to support your beautiful new body as she heals... it's all about the rest! Sooo looking forward to following your journey... it's gonna be great!! Big hugz

Your exactly right 2 more sleeps. And totally scar-cited but I know I'll be happy after. Just getting to the after is nerve racking.

hard to say with out knowing what your personal issues are if its skin? surgery is the only corrective method really. i know its tempting this cool scupting and such but i think that prob doesnt do anything long term. :)
