down to one percocet a day now. drains are both still in and they make me pretty cranky. the doctor wants them down to 10cc output before he will agree to take them out and so i guess they are just part of me now because the lowest i get is 12.5 cc in the morning.
for some insane reason i'm not allowed to shower until the drains come out and that makes me more cranky! my pain comes mostly from the drains tugging and pulling.
I know i am not even two weeks out but i get frustrated.. i decided to clean today and that made me pretty tired and i've been driving since yesterday which is pretty uncomfortable but i have school to go to.. soo.. oh well.. i attached some photos from tonight, day 8 doesn't look much different then day 3 to me..

Becoming less dependant on the Percocet. Took one last night before bed then no pain pills again until morning. Dont think I would have needed one this after noon but I got up and directed the kids around the house helping me clean up the rooms and just standing and walking and a bit of sweeping wore me out and left me sore. So I got sent back to bed and willingly submitted to a pain pill. Sleepy now and ready to spend the evening relaxing. Tomorrow I will try to go without the narcotics ans just take tylenol if I need to because monday I start school again and I gotta be able to drive. Drains are doing good a lot less output today.. i think after the weekend ill get the first out... Buuuuttt not before I get to figure out how to dress in public with them haha.. took some photos today because I was worried about my belly button and how it would look when it heals and I am paranoid about swelling and re-stretching the skin.. what do you guys think? Is it all normal swelling and it will settle down eventually?

Just surprises me seeing the side by side
