24 yr old Septorhinoplasty & Turbinate Reduction

Had my 3 week follow up yesterday. Dr. Goldman said everything looks good, and my nose should only get better from here on out. I’m very happy with my results and can’t wait to watch the swelling come down over the next few months. I’ll have another follow up in 6 weeks. I can honestly say Dr. Goldman is one of the best doctors I’ve ever met. He’s very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He makes you feel so comfortable every step of the way, and I’ve never felt rushed at any of my appointments. I’m looking forward to what’s to come in the next stages of my new nose!

I got my cast and splints removed this morning! I couldn’t wait to get to the appointment. The last 48 hours my congestion was horrible and it was really hard to breathe, and I couldn’t smell or taste anything. The splint removal was just as I expected, super weird feeling, but no pain. I had pain in my front teeth for a few hours after they were taken out, but it wasn’t terrible. Everything is healing good, and I’m in love with my new nose. It’s still swollen so that means it’s only going to get better! It feels like it’s not a part of my body right now, so I can’t wait to get feeling back. Looking forward to my follow up with Dr. Goldman in a few weeks!

Recovery is going well. Post op bleeding stopped after day 2. Surprisingly my bruises are almost gone, I’m in the yellow/green phase now. Swelling is gone except a little along my jaw line. Haven’t really had much pain, except a headache this morning that subsided this afternoon. Had a lot of congestion today especially after sneezing. Everyone is saying my nose looks smaller even with the cast on. Can’t wait to get everything removed on Friday!
