One Year Post Op on Medium-thick Skin with Bulbous Tip
WORTH IT
I had my surgery at the end of July 2025, it’s now a year after the surgery and he has totally changed my life for the better. I am no longer insecure and hiding my face in pictures, and I will forever be grateful for that. He gave me exactly what I wanted, and the bulbous nose I was insecure about and made fun of for since I was a pre-teen is no longer there.
Having travelled to turkey from the UK, I was very worried about the process and recovery as I did not know the language and stressed about communication difficulties in the recovery period. However, Dr Burak’s assistant Merve answered any questions I had - but the process was so smooth that I only messaged them a few times within a year to ask a few random questions.
I had medium-thick thin and my swelling went down significantly after around a month, but even 2 weeks later i looked normal and was able to go out wherever i wanted. Overall the swelling wasnt bad - but at the start the swelling was more significant on one side, and then this switched to the opposite side. However with vitamin C, massaging and taping, it has evened out and looks amazing. În any case Dr Burak has great surgical skills and knows how to provide a natural looking result. I was aware that the way my body heals and the swelling would be what the final result mostly depended on.
In terms of breathing, I now breathe slightly better than before. I used to have enlarged turbinates and deviated septum but this never caused a big issue, but now I see a positive change. I was able to breathe as soon as I got my cast off which I was very grateful for.
Overall, the experience was so great that two people that I recommended him to have also had their surgeries in December - both of which have amazing results.
