Very Disappointed Overall.
I came to Dr Ulusoys clinic in March 2020 to get a Septorhinoplasty (dorsal hump reduction and tip refinery). The results appeared to be good initially judging by the immediate post operation photos, but as the swelling around my nose decreased week after week revealing the results of my “new nose” I was disappointed to see that the hump on my nose which appeared to be completely removed in the post operation photos, was returning almost to its original shape and size, as time went on, despite following the strict aftercare regimen given to me by Dr Ulusoy. It is now almost 14 months since the operation and the hump on my nose has returned almost completely to its original shape and size. Communication and check ups through whatsapp were initially good within the first 6 months during which I let Dr Ulusoy know of my concerns with the return of my nose hump, but then at a certain point Dr Ulusoys team stopped contacting me to check on my results/progress and The last time I contacted Dr through whatsapp he told me that the hump could be shaved off through a small procedure If I return to Istanbul ( which is almost impossible for the foreseeable future given the current travel restrictions), which frankly will not resolve the issue as the hump is too large to simply shave down and will need a revision, according to other rhinoplasty surgeons who have seen my nose in its current condition 1 year post op. The last time I contacted them was months ago to try and organize a video conference with his team but still have not had a reply with regards to this. I understand that sometimes these procedures can go wrong, but I am thoroughly disappointed by the results of my operation and the lack of care given the poor results of the procedure and communication shown by Dr Ulusoy and his team after flying all the way to Istanbul and paying a lot of money for the procedure. So they leave me no choice but to give a 1 star review which is I feel completely merited in my case.

I came for a little hump and left with a destroyed nose. He forgot everything we planned on WhatsApp, and started to make a simulation without asking me what I wanted. The simulation was crazy so I told him "no just the hump, I have a hump stop there " and he restarted another simulation and said "ok so I'm gonna raise the tip here, narrow this, shave this" in my head I was really wondering if he was serious, so once again I said "please stop, I just want to correct my hump". When I left the office I was terrified and really felt that he will do some crazy things and I was right. My tip was turned up to the sky despite the fact that I asked him not to touch it, and instead of just reducing my hump as I asked, my entire dorsum height was extremely reduced to the point that my nose is now completely flat and 3 times bigger than before. As soon as I saw my face I entered depression and I knew that I will need one of the hardest revision ever.
Most board certified surgeons I went to rejected my case, some of them told me that way to much bone and cartilage was removed and therefore I have a lot of empty skin, so there was no chances for my nose to look as good as my original nose, they could only make it less worse than it actually is by a highly complex ethnic/Asian revision rhinoplasty (I'm not Asian but my nose now looks like an extreme case of ethnic Asian nose).
My cartilage between my tip and bone is almost completely gone, the way Turkish surgeons raise the tip is by amputating this cartilage, in my case more than 1cm of tip cartilage was literally removed and my tip is only few millimeter under my bone, so now It's pretty much over for me, this technique left me with a pig nose and an inward columela (like a bat or Michael Jackson) the only way to lengthen the tip is with rib graft, but it's apparently impossible to put my tip at its original place given how much was removed, I've also lost around 35 pounds due to severe depression so my skin isn't elastic enough now. I've been so stupid to go to this surgeon and regret it so much, he's not even a plastic surgeon as I found out, and like shown on his profile page. I strongly recommend that you do not go to Turkey to get your nose job, this a guarantee to get disfigured, even if you ask them not to do something they will do it anyway.
My life went down the hill since my surgery with that doctor, I never left my house since this surgery, I lost my job and all my friends, I should have my revision in few months thanks to a doctor I know since I'm a child, when he heard about my mental state and saw my face he contacted a specialist he knew who is used to this kind of botched rhinoplasty in Turkey and Iran, that's the only hope I have, but this new surgeon still told me that the final result won't look as good as my birth nose given how dr ulusoy exploded my nose, and that he's goal is to make me a nose that will enable me to go out in public without looking like I had a car crash.
If you want to have a surgery, I beg you, go to EBOPRAS.com which is the website of board certified surgeons in Europe, type the name of the surgeon, if the name doesn't appear, run away from him because it's a fake one. Don't take into account the positive reviews which are mostly fake and bad Google reviews can easily be removed by surgeons. and if you still want to make the crazy decision to get your surgery in Turkey, don't base your choice on Instagram or YouTube influencers, surgeons know who they are and will do everything not to botched them, or even pay for a real surgeon to make their surgery, with random people, they will just grind your money, explode your face, never contact you again, and spy on you to make sure you never talked about the nightmare you're living.
I am sure the botched procedure has made you do a lot of research on board certified surgeons, any one good you can recommend?
