Very Unprofessional Consultation
This review is about my experience with my virtual consultation and why I won’t be loving forward.
I booked months in advance to get my virtual consult and when he finally joined the call, he wasn’t in his office but outside in a balcony with spotty service. I was 2:30pm Colombia time so I’m not sure why. He said sorry I’m at home right now… his English is not good which is fine of course, it was my choice to seek a Doctor in a Spanish speaking country, but with the language barrier and his spotty phone connection, it was really hard to understand him. Just a heads up for anyone else that doesn’t speak Spanish.
He tried to show me photos of what his work would look like but just scrolled through his phone over and over until finally saying he can’t find them since he’s not in his office. I paid $30 for the consult and I felt like I had been cheated or at least treated like I wasn’t a priority at all. It was extremely unprofessional to schedule someone months out and make them pay, and then not be prepared for the consult at all.
I asked for a quote for the work and it was double what my Colombian friend paid for the same surgery. It was almost the same price as it would be here in the states which defeats the purpose of me traveling. I told them that, and they reduced the price, but at this point I don’t trust this business with my face or my safety. No thanks.
