I was originally going to post a review in 2021 but I decided to give it more time to see if things improve. They did not improve.
Dr. Joseph did my rhinoplasty in 2019. I did not like it from the moment I saw it. My nose is not individualize to my specific features. My nose is a reflection of what Dr. Joseph considers “beautiful and feminine”, which is significantly different what I wanted. I know that my nose was a simple fix & I just wanted it to be less wide but he pointed out several other things “wrong” with it. Despite my disappointment, I have been respectful to him but he became extremely rude, condescending and spoke down to me during EVERY post op visit. I became afraid to go to his office to get treatment because I knew he would speak so terribly to me.
Since the procedure in 2019, I have been trying to fix: 1. Large Dent on the side of my nose, 2. Overly curved unnatural bridge 3. Nose tip that is pinched and bony. These are all problems he caused.
Dr. Joesph has fixed problems 1 & 2 by doing silicone injections. However problem 3, the bony nose tip, remains.
Dr. Joseph believes that because he has treated me six times (over the course of 4 years), that it is “enough” and I should be satisfied with the way it looks. Today, 8/12/23, he and I agree that my nose tip is bony and pinched, but he believes I should “live with it”.
Unfortunately since 2019, six people have asked me if I have gotten a nose job. Two of those people were patients of mine, who had no idea what I looked like before. To me, this makes it clear that my nose does not look natural and looks like it has been operated on. This is both a heartbreaking experience and nightmare. I strongly believe with more treatments my nose would have looked better. I cannot understand why someone would be so rude, condescending and unwilling to fix problems he caused. Perhaps he got tired of treating the problems he caused for “free”. He should done the surgery correctly, without dents and bumps in the first place and there would be no need for follow up treatments. I respectfully gave him the opportunity to make it right post operatively and he has not done so. Additionally, he was rude and condescending towards me, to add insult to injury. A wise decision would be avoiding him at all costs, please do not make my mistake.
