There’s Improvement From My Twice Broken Nose but I have concerns

Adding this review because it was super helpful to read through reviews as I was contemplating surgery. I’m still healing but even with some unevenness that appears to be swelling there’s so much improvement from my twice broken nose. Before surgery I reiterated the importance of my breathing and I’m so glad I did because he tested something with his fingers and we realized it would have affected my breathing. (Which I wasn’t willing to sacrifice)
He fixed the break, thinned the width & raised the tip. So far I’m happy and thankful.
I’m hoping my nose doesn’t drop more because I like where it is at right now.
I’ll update more as time goes on.

Uneven grafts

I’m really trying hard to be patient but the unevenness surely seems like grafts not swelling This surgery has been so mentally straining on me. I’m so sad because it looks like something simple as making the graft slightly smaller or something of the such could have fixed the problem.
I’ll be patient but I don’t see the unevenness changing .. only getting worse

Hey there, how is your nose doing now? Is it healing properly? Still having difficult to breathe. I wish you an easy recovery. I did a consultation with the doctor for rhinoplasty and your review is very helpful for me to make a decision. Thank you :)

The breathing issue seemed to subside… but tbh I don’t think my breathing is improved from before the surgery. It still occasionally swells and breathing may be harder with exercise for example….but I don’t find myself mouth breathing anymore. The best thing for me was to try my hardest to forget about it and stop over analyzing and give it time.
I’m a little bummed my nose is uneven. When I flare my nostrils you can tell where the grafts are uneven. I think it could also possibly be scar tissue build up too which is out of the doctors control but we will have to check back when it’s been a year post op to see what it is and what we can do.. I believe if I wasn’t so worried about breathing my nose could have looked a lot more cuter with what we originally planned to do lol but oh well .. I do see an improvement in its appearance. It did come with some different flaws now for me to worry about. :(

Breathing issues

I was told my breathing was likely to improve but my breathing is worse right now. :( We put the grafts in to counter any breathing problems but with that it didn’t help and my nose feels a little bigger than before. I’m worried. Advice?

I had the same issue, unevenness and not great breathing. We’re doing a revision in 2 weeks… keep your fingers crossed for me…
