Two weeks after!

I think the tip is higher and a bit pointier than I would like but I know I have a ling ways to go yet. Can’t wait to see how it heals

Flying after surgery/ 16+ hours

I flew back from Turkey to the U.S. over a 24 hour period of travel. It was awful in the sense that I was very fatigued. This was Day 7 after surgery, and I had just had my cast removed. I was so worried about the pressure that I would experience, but it actually wasn’t bad at all! The last two hours of flying, I feel like my body was exhausted and in these two hours I felt my face really swell up. After taking some medicine to control the swelling it wasn’t too bad. But it is the best feeling to be home and have the cast off!
My nose is super swollen so Im not sure how I feel about it at the moment, they say after week 2 and 3 you start to actually see the results.
Here are pictures of my before nose, and my nose right after cast removal

Rhinoplasty in turkey!

I always wanted a rhinoplasty, as my nose always felt a little too big for my face and I has a hump that looked different from the left and right side profile! I finally decided to take the leap and get my nose done in turkey, known for rhinoplasty surgery! I went to Dr. Firat Dimertasoglu (you can find his work and contact on his Instagram profile). The pros are the cost! I ended up paying $3400 in total for my surgery. I also like the noticeable work done on noses in Turkey, I feel that other places do not do as dramatic of a change which is what I wanted. The cons are the traveling. I am from the U.S. so the flight time is about 16+ hours! I am set to head back to the US in three days after spending a week in Turkey recovering and I am not looking forward to the long flight. Also, the language barrier can be quite difficult. I wanted to ask a lot more questions than I did. Also this doctor does ALOT of rhinoplastys. I mean within the couple days that I saw him in clinic, I saw about 7-10 other patients who had just gotten rhinoplasty or were going to get rhinoplasty the same week as me. This was comforting and a little concerning as I felt I was in a rhinoplasty mill of sorts lol. Also, a major con, is since I decided to travel for rhinoplasty there will be no follow-up appointments so I'm on my own after cast removal! I pray for the best. If you're considering rhinoplasty: prepare for major discomfort! I definitely was not prepared for the aftereffects of anesthesia, the inability to breathe through my nose, the itchiness under the cast, and probably worse of all the major swelling! I am on Day 4 after surgery and submitted some photos of my recovery so far.
