Terrible Experience, Need Help for Revision

My story is a bit of a long one, and I'm still going through it, but I'm hoping maybe I can get some recommendations from others who may have gone through the same thing.
I had been wanting rhinoplasty for about 15 years, I had a broken nose from an athletic injury an also wanted the dorsal hump reduced, and the tip slightly reduced as well. I just wanted it to appear a bit straighter from the front and to have a straight profile with a slightly smaller tip. I had a septoplasty done in the right nostril as well to help with breathing
I met with the Dr back in June and he had a very good bedside manner. His patient coordinator was very friendly as well, but she has lately stopped being friendly and has become cold as this whole process has played out.
The Dr I saw (PM for name) had great reviews on yelp and his pictures were wonderful on his website; this was before I knew about realself and I feel so naive and stupid for not doing more research. They got me in very quickly and I had been waiting so long I was ready to take the plunge. I had my surgery done on July 30th and for the first month, everything looked great, with the exception of the underside, where the nostrils were very asymmetrical, but he assured me that was swelling. That's when things started to go wrong.
A week after the surgery the cast came off and the nose looked great from straight on, but the doctor left stitches in so I had to come back the next day. I also developed a weird cyst where the right nostril and left nostril fused together. He is so scatterbrained and is always trying to get you out as fast as possible he was about to walk away when I said "hey, what about the cyst?" He then came back, cut my nostril away from the center and cauterized it.
About a week later a wound developed on the inside of my left nostril that hurt really bad. I came in to see the doctor and he said nothing was wrong. The following week my tip ballooned up quite badly and was burning and red. Turns out I developed a staph infection and had to go on antibiotics for three weeks. During this time the doctor never called me once, his patient coordinator did email me every few days however, to make sure I was okay.
A few weeks after that a small bump has now popped up on the bridge where the dorsal hump used to be. The doctor tells me to press on it ten times and day and that it should go away but it's been two weeks and has not gone away.
My nose is now more crooked than it was before surgery, and a large chunk was taken out of my left nostril. Every time I try to bring this up I'm told "it's just swelling, it will settle" but I know I need a graft to fix that nostril.
The doctor keeps saying I look great and brushing me off and if we have to do revisions we can come back in a year but I'm not comfortable with him touching my nose again.
I'm currently looking for a revisionist surgeon but it's proving really hard. I'm considering the following surgeons:
Jonathan sykes
Nima Shemirani
Robert kotler
Deepak Dugar
Kian karimi
I spoke to Dr Nima and I am really excited about his work but his receptionist was very push and I'm terrified to go under the knife again and his quote was exceptionally high. I was also thinking about the silikone 1000 injections with Dr Kotler but those scare me as well.
Any advice would be really appreciated.

Who was your doctor? I am so sorry this happened.

I’ve decided to cut ties with this doctor, it was doctor Rawnsley

I'm still waiting to see them in a few weeks and have to get medical records from them, which for some reason they were hesitant to give me. The receptionist said the doctor has to do a special sign off process? Therefore, I'm holding on posting the name and review for a few months until I am no longer a patient but please message me and I can tell you privately.

Who's the doctors?

As I posted, I still have to see this doctor in an upcoming visit and they are refusing to give me my medical records so I need to wait to see them before I go public with the name of the doctor or I fear there will be backlash. Private message me for the name

So far my consult was dr nima was the most through and best. I am currently scheduled w Kassir and am having hesitations. I'd look at kosins, rooestein and rahban. I think rahban seems amazing.

Thank you so much for your reply! I’ll look into Kosins, Rooestein and Rahban, as well as go through with the consult for Dr Nima.

You're welcome. I feel bad for you and don't want you to have to go through 4 like me. Nima is expensive but not as expensive as others. Please let me know who you go with. I consulted w 5 before going with Kassir and still have doubts :(

I’ve been reading up about Dr Reisch in NY, he seems like the best!

I'm sorry this happened - what about Botched and Dr Paul Nassif in LA

Hi, I dm’d you, I just had revision rhinoplasty in LA and also got an infection, my end result looks very similar to yours. So now I’m thinking it’s the result of the infection. You did not name the Dr that did mine (thank god). He was very rushed and an absolute disaster, I also did not do enough research. I have spoken to a few of these offices, there are some that won’t see me until it’s been a full year. I also got a weird vibe from Dr. Nima’s office, not sure what’s going on there. Price was very high, but correct for the region. Dr. Nassif has a history of over correcting noses and makes them large, which also is what just happened to me, I’m trying to have some grafting removed. Also, I heard his price in the end is twice what other doctors quote. Would love to swap info with you on consults.

Dr Ion is my top choice, he also won’t consult me until it’s been a year. I’m also considering Dr. Layke, Dr. Rahban, (maybe) Dr Calvert. Karimi and Reish are also high on my list.

Also, I decided I’m not considering any doctors who do not use morphs. Adding grafting can completely change the appearance of the nose and I need to be sure it’s in line with my aesthetic desires!

I also got a very weird vibe from Dr Nima's office. They were super rude and basically said don't come in unless you want to drop 20k RIGHT AWAY. It was very strange. They also said, if you book the same day you see the doctor we'll knock 1K off! Not very re-assuring.

I'm talking to Dr Reish in NY but I received a quote for 20k, which I feel is a bit steep and he does want to use a lot of grafts, which I'm okay with. I did really like him though and I think his work is the best I've ever seen so it may really be you get what you pay for.

I am seeing Dr Dugar on Friday and also have a consult in December for Karimi. I'm also looking at Jason Roostaeian as well. The thing is, Im okay with the slight curve to the front of the nose, could totally have been caused by the infection, but from day one I noticed the nostrils were really messed up when the cast came off. I think he really just took too much off and it'll required grafting to even things out. Let's keep in touch!

Looking for doctors

wesley38
Hi all, I know it’s a bit early to update but I’ve made consultation appointments with Dr Dugar next week and Karimi in December. I’m most excited to get my virtual consultation scheduled for doctor Reisch, I never thought I would fly to another state but his work is just exceptional
