I had rhinoplasty by Dr. Funk last week to address breathing and aesthetic concerns and though it has only been a week, I can't be any happier with my results so far. I had followed his portfolio for over a year and compared other surgeons but his methods just felt right for me. He's incredibly gentle and professional and goes straight to business. Shoutout to Leah too for her attention to detail and being incredible at answering questions and breaking down finances. The girls in the office are also very organized.

During my consultation, he asked what I wanted to address in/on my nose. I described the medical first and then the aesthetic and immediately we were on the same page. He saw exactly what I needed done without me having to explain much and that's why I didn't hesitate to book my surgery the next day (I would've booked it the same day but I wanted to just absorb what was about to happen). He's a perfectionist with an emphasis on a natural result.

I was very nervous the day of the surgery (I even cried!) but the hospital was also amazing and accommodating- I just remember them being so gentle as they gave me medicine and then I woke up and it was all done.

Recovery isn't fun but I don't think it could've been better especially if you follow the instructions the office provides. That was our go-to. You feel SO congested for the first few days but pain really is minimal, if any at times. My face swelled up a LOT but I barely bruised (if I were to go back, I would've doubled the liquids to minimize that!) I was re-taped yesterday but I can feel the structure of my nose already and how great my smaller nostrils are healing and I am so obsessed. You're not supposed to be breathing out of your nose much still but I have noticed a positive change. I wish time went by faster to see the final results!

Important advice that I can give you is to listen thoroughly to what they say and trust in this team as they're all so good in what they do. Trust in all the advice they give you and understand that the healing process takes time. Once you accept the discomfort in congestion, swelling, etc. everything else gets so much easier.
