WORTH IT
I am from the UK and did years of research into rhinoplasty as I have always disliked my nose. After doing research I couldn’t find a doctor in the UK who’s before and after pictures I really liked. I then read that turkey was one of the top places to go.
After finding Dr.Ozturk I loved his before and after pictures as they looked perfect but not to lifted like others so I booked in for a years time.
It was scary being in a different country as I worry a lot but I can say the most painful part about it was the cannula in my hand. The pain itself was just an uncomfortable clostrophobic feeling.
I worried a lot that things were wrong and out of the ordinary but I asked via WhatsApp and sent pictures and they reassured me it was normal.
Dr.Ozturk himself was lovely and reassuring, he clearly knows exactly what he is doing and is amazing with his work. In all I probably spent about 15 minutes with him from beginning to end. The ladies were great, I did feel a little rushed when getting my stitches/silicones out but it was probably for the best as I would have been a squinny otherwise.
I’ve chosen to write this review 3 weeks later as I wanted to get an idea of my final result and I can honestly say I couldn’t be happier. It was definitely out of my comfort zone getting surgery in a different country and communication could have been a little better, but at the end of the day I went for one thing, a new nose and Dr.Ozturk has done an amazing job. He performs this surgery so much that to him it is second nature, and you just need to trust the process. I would definitely recommend going with someone else/friend/family as I wouldn’t have mentally made it through otherwise!

If I could make any recommendations it would be to be given an aftercare booklet in English about how to clean it and what to expect day to day. Also, being told what medication you will be on after/ medication given to you so you don’t have to go to the pharmacy after.
Other than that everything was great. The hospital did regular checks and ice when I stayed over night with a friend in my own room.
Thank you so much for my new nose, you really are talented. If anyone is thinking about getting rhinoplasty, just book it and be brave!
