Doctor cut off contact with me for leaving a real self review of my experience

Here are some more photos of my nose these are at 1 year post op. My bridge is crooked and my nostrils are uneven. For 9k plus anesthesia fees totaling 3k plus money for trips to and from for months to follow this is unacceptable.

So I contacted the office to do a zoom one year post op follow up hoping to discuss revision and I was informed that I would no longer be in contact with the doctor do to me leaving my review here on real self. I had no idea sharing my very true experience would cause this I was just being open and honest.

I’m so sorry you experienced this. You “do not have the doctors best interest in mind” - what about your best interest, health, and face? I’m so sick of the gaslighting that comes from these cosmetic doctors. They can almost never admit to a mistake or end up agreeing to fix it, even when promised that they would. Thank you for posting this! Says a lot about their practice, they could’ve tried to change it to a more positive review.
For real. They cannot be called doctors. Just cosmetic/plastic surgeons. Doctors are supposed to care about a patient's well-being. Not butchers.
That's what I'm saying in the beginning we discussed revision then because I shared my experience I have no options which is probably a good thing I've been recommended by a couple people not to go back to him he clearly didn't put the effort in with me to begin with
Your initial review wasn't even bad!! It was very balanced and reasonable. You even complimented the doctor. This is ridiculous wowwww.
It totally sucks but another doctor recommend I do not go back to him as clearly little effort was put into reshaping my nose and tip. Seems if you are not an influencer or someone else important he will put little effort. Not to mention the amount of shots he put into my nose within the first month is unheard of across a few plastic surgery groups for rhinoplasty I joined on facebook which is even more discouraging. Was I a guinea pig? After 3 months he put filler which made things way worse. My poor nose has been through so much Ive been advised to leave it alone. I thought real self is for sharing your experience? He should have fixed his mistakes regardless of my post, as a plastic surgeon you would think he would understand having to deal with this for 20 years. He might do these cosmetic surgerys daily but I waited my entire life for this. I feel very let down but I will be seeking someone for a revision closer to home!
I did a rhinoplasty recently and the doctor put a very tiny amount of steroid shot in my tip at cast off but that's it. I asked if I would need more he said no definitely not. And I have thick skin. Please look at Turkish doctors! They are the best at rhino. Even revision rhino.
Everyone I have mentioned the amount of Kenalog that was injected into my nose is suprised and never heard of such a thing. Also never heard of injections every week within the first month like that. I believe I had 5 shots total. Within one month of surgery. My nose was red for months. Then at 3 months he does filler. Another doctor told me to leave my nose alone! I believe at that point I was a guinea pig to some degree.
I have talked to a couple doctors in turkey and Im planning to have my taxes for 2021 roll over to 2022s so I can have enough for all my travels and surgery. I also have been told my many people not to go back to him as clearly I was not important enough in his eyes to put effort into my surgery. Had I been an influencer(check out his IG) my nose would have been perfect!!! Im adding more photos on my angles of my nose.

Why don't you report him to the state medical board? That's terrible that there is no real recourse for these stupid doctors who deform people! I say report him or find a lawyer who sues these quacks.

Idk if its even worth my own energy anymore...I was told by ladies in a surgery support group to post on real self then look where this got me. Might just move on but I did leave reviews on google and elsewhere
I agree! Some of them have such inflated egos and think they are perfect!

My Rhinoplasty Experience
I waited my entire life to get rhinoplasty so I was very excited to have it done, so excited that I wasn't even really nervous about surgery. I went all the way to Beverly Hills because I wanted the best result possible. I live in Sacramento I made it a point to choose a highly skilled doctor so my result would be what I desired from the moment I took the mask off. I did notice that it was not the shape that I was expecting but once the doctor put a Kenalog shot in my nose I did like the shape. I was asked to come back every week for about 4 weeks when he continues to put Kenalog in my nose but when it was all said and done the final result was not what it was supposed to be— it still had a beak-like shape to it. The doctor very willingly wanted to help me resolve the issue which I am grateful for that so we tried filler in my nose which ended up making it look more bulky. I'm still waiting to see when and if I'm going to get revision hopefully the fees are waived overall I am glad I have a smaller nose now but to be completely honest the shape is still undesired and not what was shown to me in the more photos before I went into surgery. I feel like not enough detail or time was put into my tip it still John turned I do not have a supratip break or even a straight nose I still have a hump. Overall the doctor was really nice to me every time I have seen him I just wish that I got the result that I wanted that was my whole point of going to Beverly Hills I am posting photos of my nose before any filler was injected into it.

Hi hun, I'm in a similar position. I'm overall happy but want the tip different. It's difficult because I wouldn't say I need a revision but more an adjustment. The original surgeon said he can't improve on mine so I'm currently looking for someone else. I think yours does look lovely
Goodluck on your search!!! For me I feel like I waisted time and money I could have stayed local and wished Id researched more I went to my chosen doctor through a friends referral. I liked all the pictures Ive seen on his website.

I know you said you wanted to stay close to home for your revision…but I would consider getting a revision in Turkey. They seem to have a lot more experience there and they actually put in enough effort on reshaping your nose. It’s also nice that it’s a lot cheaper there, but the doctors there just seem to do a better job overall.
Thanks for the info!!! Im communicating with 2 doctors on instagram only 5000 euro for revision!!! Should have went there to begin with but I was uninformed.
