My confidence has soared - no longer self-conscious of my profile

I don’t have enough words to adequately describe my incredibly positive experience with this doctor and his team.

I wanted to have a rhinoplasty done ever since I was a teenager. My nose has been broken when I was younger and I was left with a very unsightly bump and was not able to breathe through my right nostril. Every time I would research plastic surgeons though, I could always find something wrong with their work, I was extremely highly critical because of how nervous I was to have the surgery done.

I found Dr. Dhir on Instagram about five years ago and was highly impressed with all of his work, I never saw a single bad rhinoplasty by him. I had finally found my surgeon!!

So in January 2021, at 34 years old, I finally decided to set up a consult. The doctor requested I send pictures of my face before hand, at different angles, so he could analyze the work that needed to be done before our consultation. He was so incredibly friendly and I felt seen and heard in regards to my questions, fears, and desired outcome. I felt a little nervous still, but also confident so I decided to put down the deposit and schedule my surgery.

The office staff was incredibly kind and extremely communicative throughout the entire process. They checked in frequently and made sure I had all of the proper forms filled out, bloodwork and tests done, medications filled, before my surgery.

A quick sidenote, I highly suggest following all of their instructions exactly. Drinking pineapple juice several weeks before the surgery, and during the healing process, really helped with the bruising and swelling and made the healing process a little better. You’re definitely going to want to make sure your immune system is on point to help with recovery.

I was very nervous the day of surgery, but the entire team was so caring and made sure I was incredibly comfortable. For me personally, I generally have a lot of difficulty with things like getting numb and being highly resistant painkillers. I usually need very strong medications to help control pain, so I was in quite a bit of pain after my surgery for a good 4 to 5 days (this is highly abnormal, most people are able to just take regular Tylenol and have no issues with pain whatsoever. But just a heads up for anybody who might be more like me, it might be a good idea to ask for something stronger right off the bat so you’re covered)

Dr. Dhir was incredibly communicative and responsive during my healing process. I was in LA for roughly a week and he was always ready to answer a text about questions or fears I had about the healing process. Same with the front office staff and the nurses, their care for me and my well-being was so evident and really helped make the process smooth and calm.

On the day we took the bandages off, even though my face was still pretty swollen and healing, I couldn’t believe what a difference there was. I finally had a straight bridge and I was blown away at how much air I could take in through my right nostril, finally! It was an incredibly emotional experience.

Apparently my surgery was a bit complex because the doctor needed to rotate the tip of my nose, support the tip, deproject my nose, remove the nasal hump, and open up my nasal passages. He handled it masterfully and I am sooooo incredibly grateful he was the one to do the complex procedure.

One year later, my nose is fully healed and I am still in complete and utter shock over just how perfect it turned out. It fits my face beautifully! My confidence has soared and I’m no longer self-conscious of my profile. I had always been beautiful in the past, but now I actually FEEL beautiful.

If you are at all on the fence about whether or not to do the procedure, please please trust me and JUST DO IT!! Dr. Dhir is a master at his craft and you will not regret it at all.
