I had always been self conscious about how I looked before, but afterwards I felt more confident and free

A few years ago I had a rhinoplasty that was done in by Dr. Maggi. Recently I've been looking through my pictures and decided to share my experience looking back on everything.

I felt nervous in the beginning, but Dr. Maggi and everyone on the staff felt very comforting and reassuring. They made the process feel a lot easier. I had felt very insecure about my nose for a long time, so I finally decided to take the plunge and get it fixed.

I told Dr. Maggi that the main problem about my nose that concerned me the most was the dorsal hump on the top of my nose, but that I had also noticed a secondary smaller "bump" that bothered me. Dr. Maggi explained to me that he could remove the dorsal hump and that the other bump on my nose was because the tip of my nose was square shaped and that I was seeing the corners of it at certain angles. He said that he could make my nose more narrow if I chose. I thought about it for a while and decided to change the tip as well.

After surgery I was able to contact Dr. Maggi with questions that I had. He was surprisingly fast at responding.

It took about two weeks to heal from my surgery and a month for all of the swelling to go down. After I had finished healing I was very happy with the results. I felt relieved, like a burden had been lifted. I had always been self conscious about how I looked before, but afterwards I felt more confident and free.
