My Results Are Beyond my Expectations
WORTH IT$9,500
I recently underwent a rhinoplasty with Dr. Gikas and I can’t tell you just how much I love my doctor. He gave me the most beautiful nose and I’m in love with my results.
First and foremost, he is an exceptional doctor. He knew exactly what I wanted without me having to explain it to him. He took the time to explain what he was going to do and took care to meet those expectations. He is straight to the point and doesn’t [RS bleep] his patients. He’s realistic about what can be done. I trust him wholeheartedly and highly recommend him to anyone seeking Rhinoplasty in the Chicagoland area.

Wowwwwww. Amazing. Look at that new nose. It looks like a nose that you were born with... naturally beautiful. It does NOT LOOK like you had a nose job. What a great result

Looks amazing! Was this a closed rhinoplasty?

Thank you! Your result is beautiful and it doesn’t look swollen. Very quick recovery. Xx

Thank you o much for your sweet compliments. I'm shocked it appears not swollen too. My doctor says there's swelling so if that's true it will be thinner as the healing continues! I'm thinking because I have very thin skin and I've read people with thinner skin tend to appear less swollen. My bruising sucked though and I still have very dark circles, which I hate

My nose is very similar to your old nose and I’m plucking up the courage to get it done. I love how your nose is so natural and looks like you were born with it. How long did your bruising last and did the scar heal well under your nose. Sorry to ask so many questions? Xx

No worries. Before I got this done I worried about scarring the most. I tent to get hypertrophic scarring and they tends to get dark and raised but my doctor assured me that the skin of the face is very different and tends to heal better and he is right. I can hardly see my incision, it's slightly red but not noticeable at all (unless I point it out) It seemed to heal pretty fast too. I started putting grape seed oil on it as soon as my stitches came out. (Got this idea from another rhinoplasty patient) I swear by this oil (GNC about $12 for a huge bottle, I use it as a moisturizer as well) my bruising went away round week two by the time my cast came off most of it was gone. There was still some residual bruising along my cheekbones but mostly yellowing. I'll add pics of my bruising to my profile if it helps.

Recovery Pics
Adding a couple of pics of my bruising and the week of my cast recovery. For those who haven't gone through the surgery, bruising is a very weird experience, some get bruising to appear the following days after and some ppl bruise immediately. I happended to bruise before I woke up from surgery!!! I was completely black and blue and by day 3 those bruises were fading fast. So much so that by the time my cast was removed (on day 9) the majority of my face was a pale yellow. It's crazy how fast the body heals. It helps to apply arnica and take bromelian(sp?) lots of pineapple juices and ginger/turmeric smoothies which probably helped tremendously.

How long did the recovery take?

March 6, 2021
I'm still in recovery. I'm only 2 month out, but from surgery day to cast removal, I think 2weeks is a good time to allow for healing before getting back to daily (limited) activity. My doctor said no exercises for about 3weeks

Looks good. Can’t wait to see when cast is off. I go in Friday for functional and bruise easy. Will prob be a bit worse than breaking my nose. How soon do you think I can drive? My poor daughter will need to work for me as Xmas is my busy time!
Congratulations!
