Results Beyond Expectations — An Exceptional Surgeon

I had my rhinoplasty with Mr Atherton on 5 December 2025, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I first met him for a consultation in October, after being recommended by a friend. Before attending, I carried out extensive research and reviewed many before?and?after photos. What consistently stood out about his work was the natural finish — exactly what I wanted for my own nose.
From the moment I arrived at the consultation, I felt at ease. I brought my mum with me, which was reassuring for both of us, and it allowed her to understand the procedure too. Mr Atherton listened carefully to the three main concerns I had: a dorsal hump affecting my side profile, tip deviation when viewed from the front, and a bulbous tip. What really impressed me was how clearly he explained the balance between aesthetic changes and maintaining optimal breathing function, making sure expectations were realistic. He then created a morphed version of my side profile, which I loved immediately.
The entire process — from communication with Mr Atherton’s PA to the surgery day itself — was seamless. Every question I had was answered promptly, and the clinic was extremely well organised. The aftercare has also been outstanding. I particularly appreciated knowing that Mr Atherton has significant experience working with ethnic noses similar to mine, which gave me added confidence.
On the day of my surgery, I felt surprisingly calm, despite normally being quite anxious. I think this was because I genuinely trusted him. Now, nearly two months on, the results are incredible — even better than the morphed preview. I feel so much more confident, especially with my side profile. It’s everything I hoped for and more.
My recovery was smooth and exactly as described, and I didn’t experience any bruising thanks to the Piezo (piezotome) technique used.
If you’re looking for a surgeon who delivers natural, refined, and beautifully enhanced results, I cannot recommend Mr Duncan Atherton highly enough.
