Had a rhinoplasty - have to say that I do personally regret it

The Future Of Rhinoplasty…

amberramber
I am someone who’s had a rhinoplasty before and I have to say that I do personally regret it. I have a feeling that this regret is only going to increase amongst many others as I’ve noticed, due to social media (specifically tiktok & twitter), embracing your individuality is in right now. Celebrities like Bella Hadid are voicing their regrets and many young girls are opting out of it altogether as they believe that it is a procedure that is wiping out ethnic features (I won’t say I agree or disagree, that is up to you). Due to this, I think that nose jobs are going to decrease greatly in the coming years (at least surgical ones). I think we’re going to see a great shift in procedures. I know that many surgeons will say that it is completely impossible to revert a nose job, but what I really think is that 1. It’s not a common request at the moment so no one knows how to do it 2. There’s just no market for it, so why bother learning how to do so. Because over the years we have seen incredible medical breakthroughs, people who have had their entire faces reconstructed or parts grown onto their bodies. Nothing is impossible, in my opinion. We just haven’t gotten to the point in time where it is possible. If I were a surgeon, I’d start perfecting the art of a “reverse” nose job before anyone else gets their hands on it or perhaps provide “ethnic” nose recreation services for those who have proof of their previous nose. I know I’m not going to be taken seriously right now, but many women are going to start wanting their ethnic nose back. Bella Hadid and Jennifer Grey are only the beginning. I’ve even seen people point out online that Kim K is doing what she can to look like her old self! Everyone should be paying attention, and also saving their money for when these procedures are available. ;) But that’s just my two cents!
