I Regret This Decision Deeply
July 22, 2020 - I had my Rhinoplasty with Dr. Güncel Öztürk.
Feedback after 1 year and 2 months
Never do it here!
Result:
can't breathe properly, nose looks asymmetric, cartilage is not fixed and is moving constantly. sometimes I have pain. When I exercise heavily my nose starts swelling and pain comes, part of the skin has a different colour on my nose.
I am 24 years old and from Germany.
I wanted to share with you this experience, that I really regret as the deepest of my life. Because it effects my life and cannot be revised.
I started thinking about a Rhinoplasty few months ago. In Germany we have plenty of professional surgeons, but one thing that catched me, and the reason because I chose Dr. Öztürk, was the 3D exempales, that will give you an impression from all perspectives before and after the intervention. Because I was concerned about the look afterwards, I felt much more secure if I do it on the 3D Model. Otherwise I would have chosen a specialist from Germany. And finally because I had a business Trip in Turkey, I thought It would be a good idea to combine it with my operation.
So far so good.
I messaged the Doctor on Whatsapp in middle of June and asked for an appointment. We set that up for 21. July for consultation and 22. July for Operation.
One week before the flight, I received a message that a test has to be done before they can proceed the operation, otherwise we wouldnt be able to do it.
Luckily I booked my flight early enough so I catched that up but the entire day of planning went for this PCR test which was very stressful and time taking. It took me 2 hours + driving to Hotel and back.
The next day, we met for the consultation, which was also a spontanious appointment and set up to 5 PM.
I was there 5 minutes earlier and brought also some gifts for the statt with me. First, I received a document that I had to fill out. Nobody told me what we are going to do, so I waited for the doctor. Then we went to take some pictures, which I was not really prepared for because nobody informed me about the steps.
We took about 3 pictures from each perspective for the 3D Models. That took about 5-8minutes.
I waited about 1 hour and 5 minutes until the Doctor had time.
The doctor himself was rushing into the room and was focusing on ending the talk asap. It was a very unwelcoming behavior and I didn’t felt comfortable and in good hands.
He made a breathing test and then we went to his desk. There he was showing me the 3D models which he just optimized a few times, as it is known from photoshop, and presented me this as my result. He convinced me that this result will be my new nose.
I fully believed him and his words and told him that I rely fully on him.
The consultation took about 15minutes but as I already told, everything in a rush and I felt that there is something more important than this. He printed out the 3D images, I paid the money for consultation and operation and left his office.
I gone trough them at my Hotel and didnt really had to add something to the Images and requested another 10 minutes for speaking to the doctor before the operation begins and asked him if I need anything to bring to the hospital, he told me no nothing to bring. I didn‘t relied on that and planned to bring phone, passport and money.
At 7 am, his assistant told me, we will meet at the hospital.
I was there 10minutes earlier and called him but nobody answered, so I went to the hospital reception and she told me to take a seat. The first thing they asked me for, was my passport. Funny because his assistant told me its no need for anything. We signed up some papers there.
Then the hospital staff brought me to my room and I received some more documents to sign.
Then some injections followed and I received my hospital clothes.
I have to make it short, google doesnt allow more words.
Don't consider doing any kind of treatment or operation here.
They never asked how im doing since the operation, so they dont really care about anything.
Change your attitude and you maybe will avoid ratings like this.
