Dr. Damien is a skilled and attentive rhinoplasty surgeon who exceeded my expectations. Here's my honest review:
I made the decision to undergo rhinoplasty in my 30s, as my nose had been broken during my high school years. I struggled with whether to embrace its unique character or seek improvement. After careful consideration, and repeat visits, I opted for correction and enhancement.
Dr. Damien patiently listened to my desires and thoroughly explained the procedure. I felt confident in his expertise, especially after seeing the fantastic results on two acquaintances who had undergone rhinoplasty with him.
The surgery experience was smoother than I anticipated. Despite getting the procedure done just before Christmas, I only needed to wear a cast for 10 days. While there was some swelling for about a month, it subsided relatively quickly. The side profile photos were taken four weeks post-op, and the front photo was taken five months later. The healing process was impressive, and I am pleased with the overall outcome.
The recovery period had its challenges, particularly with initial swelling and bruising. However, the discomfort was manageable, and I gradually returned to feeling like myself again. Although there was slight asymmetry when looking at my nose head-on, Dr. Damien reassured me that this is normal and will continue to improve over the next 1-2 years as the skin contracts.
