I Love my New Nose!
Dr. Khosh is the absolute best! I am 5 months post-op for rhinoplasty and I can’t say enough good things about the experience overall. My nose looks amazing, still fits my face perfectly, and is a big enough change that I am thrilled, but not so big that it’s noticeable. As an example, a few friends who I’ve known for years but didn’t tell about my surgery have commented on how great I look, have asked if I did something different with my hair etc. Unless I’ve told them, nobody has noticed that my nose specifically is different, but they have noticed that I look great, which is exactly what I was going for.
I’m in my mid 30s and have never liked my nose, and finally decided to look into changing it a little over a year ago. I went into my consult with Dr. Khosh very on the fence because I was terrified about coming out not looking like myself, or with a nose that I liked less than what I was born with. I had gone to one other consult prior to meeting Dr. Khosh and the doctor had left me feeling very uneasy about having surgery, telling me that my surgery would be difficult, I’d likely end up with extensive scar tissue, and stressing that there was no way of knowing exactly how it would turn out.
Dr. Khosh has a demeanor that instills confidence. He is obviously very knowledgeable, skilled, and experienced. He listened to what I was looking for and made sure he understood my fears and concerns. He assured me that he had done numerous surgeries like mine and my nose would come out very close to the digital edit that he did. He also explained exactly how he would do the surgery, which I really liked.
Everything went very smoothly. Pre-op was a breeze, and all of the information on what to do after my surgery was super clear. The surgery center is really nice and the staff were kind and reassuring. Recovery wasn’t so bad – Dr. Khosh gave me a call the night of my surgery to check in, and was quick in responding to questions by email or text the following few weeks. Dr. Khosh told me I’d hate my nose for the first two months (which was very smart, setting realistic expectations!) but I honestly started liking it around the end of the first month. It’s just gotten better and better since then.
My nose went from being something that I had negative thoughts about constantly to being a non-issue. Dr. Khosh is truly an artist and I am so much more confident in my appearance. This experience has literally been life changing and I wish I had done it sooner. If you are considering a rhinoplasty, I highly recommend Dr. Khosh.
