Hey guys sorry I haven’t been super active on here, I really don’t check it all that often! But I wanted to update everyone: I did end up getting my primary with Dr. B! I am about 7 weeks PO.
Overall, I am pretty happy with my results! I liked my table pictures, and I liked my cast off results! It’s not a small barbie nose bc I have ultra thick skin, but I asked for it to be less wide with a slimmer tip, and he was able to provide that for me! He usually doesn’t do alar base reduction, but he did for me because he said I needed it (and I’m sooo glad he did!)
Recovery has been relatively easy, I tape my nose and wear my retainers at night, and massage my nose and use scar creams throughout the day. Recovery is definitely a journey, some days I like my nose more than others (it’s usually the really swollen days that I don’t like), but, it is so much better than my original nose and I would definitely say it’s worth it! I feel a lot prettier nowadays, especially now that my nose isn’t the main focus of my face anymore.
I apologize in advance - I’m not super comfortable posting my pictures right now (pictures tend to be shared and circulate around the rhinoplasty community, and I would rather not have my photos out there).

Huseyin Balikci Review
Has anyone gotten a rhinoplasty with Dr. Huseyin Balikci? I am very interested in booking with him, but I can’t find too many reviews on RS. I’ve reached out to a few patients on IG, and they seem pretty happy with their results and the process. But, I’d like to hear from a few more people. Can anyone who’s done it with him share their review, whether it be good or bad? (Or give some advice?)
(If it matters, I am a 24 year old Asian girl who lives in the US. Spoke with his assistant and the earliest they can book me is next April, and I was quoted about 6,500 euros.)

The hospital they perform the surgery in has really bad reviews I googled which is a put off for me! I think they quoted you quite high too I'm from the U.K. and for a third revision I was quoted 5400 euros a few weeks ago...
Really? That’s a bit concerning. Kinda sad too because his noses are so pretty. They quoted me 6,500 euros for my nose :-(

Hi I am also asian, age 27 looking at this doctor too. I have thick skin (ethnic nose) I spoke to his assistant as well and another patient with thick skin. Hers came out well! I'm hoping to find more information too since I can't find much information on here either

One was Indian and the other was French, they had very similar noses, thick skin and bulbous tip. Just like mine except I also want alar reduction. I am planning to see Huseyin in 2021 but still debating because I will be flying alone as female. And I don't know if it's safe there!

I don't understand why this doctor has no reviews on RealSelf or even one bad review. Makes me feel a bit skeptical..I have been told that he can "maybe" work on my nose and his assistant keeps pushing me to set a date but I'm scared to set it becaus if the "maybe". Has anyone else had the same said to them?
Unfortunately, I feel like he tells so many people that. He says that, then his noses turn out great. He told me the same. Basically, that he could fix my low hanging columella, but that the difference would only be about 15%. Well, that's subjective. Sometimes 15% is a large difference. I asked if it would be a noticeable difference or if the columella would dip again. He didn't answer as to whether it would be noticeable, but he did say the columella would fall again. Another thing to keep in. mind about this doctor is that he uses irradiated cartilage if cartilage is needed. That is something to think about. I asked him if it would be possible to use my own, if I had a choice. I am still waiting on an answer. Same as you ladies, I have been sort of rushed to secure my date without much answer to my questions. I understand that asking over WhatsApp is free of charge and in so many not so much a benefit to them, but I hope they start to realize that it's necessary to secure patients. Are any of you leaning more towards Dr. Balikci or Dr. Celebi?
WOULDNT fall again. sorry large typo. He said the columella wouldn't fall again. Im wondering if the short consults are just normal for these doctors. Are the people going ahead with surgery all just taking leaps of faith?
Right? I've been looking for reviews online, and there is really nothing which I find so odd for such a popular doctor.
I actually was able to join a group chat through RS full of girls that are booked/have gotten their procedures a few months ago. They talk about their experiences, pre and post-op with pictures. Some of the girls are a few months post op, and love their noses!

I booked in 2020, and paid 6500 euros. After the surgery, I was charged an extra 1k for cadaver rib (he won’t know if you’ll need it until he’s actually doing the surgery).
