Update

I’d like to update my review to add that Dr. Conderman’s lawyer offered me $10,000 to remove my negative reviews of him online. If you’re wondering why there are not more negative reviews for him, you might factor that information in for consideration.

I had surgery with Dr. Conderman for a functional rhinoplasty to improve my breathing. I was explicit about not wanting cosmetic changes other than my nose being straighter and when he asked how I felt about the tip of my nose I said that I liked how it was, thought the squareness to it was really cute and wanted it to stay the same.

When I was unconscious under anesthesia, he decided his opinion about how my nose should look was more important than mine. He shaved off half the tip and made it round, then made the profile lower and the bridge wider. The result is that my tip is now the same size as the bridge which looks really weird. And the tip looks droopy now which it didn’t before because of the combination of rounding the tip and lowering the profile.

Sometimes some cosmetic changes are a necessary side effect of needing to make functional changes. But there was NO reason to cosmetically alter the tip of my nose.

I am nearly two years out from having had this surgery and I’m still really struggling with accepting my appearance. I rarely socialize and I’ve become incredibly depressed because my self confidence is at an all time low. I liked how I looked before; I just wanted to be able to breathe. Now I can breathe, but I flinch anytime I see my face in the mirror.

I would not recommend Dr. Conderman.
